Nioh 3 Putrid Paradise is a myth (side quest) that unlocks a new visitor in the Eternal Rift. The quest is also a prerequisite for the Dung Ball Roller trophy.
Let’s see what you must do to complete the myth and unlock the trophy!
How to Complete the Nioh 3 Putrid Paradise Myth
Progress through the story and complete The Age of Clans Begins main quest in the Heian stage. The Putrid Paradise myth becomes automatically available after the main quest.

The Filthy Flooded Street shrine is the closest fast travel location. Go to the map marker and notice a man standing on the roof of a flooded building. Talk to Tatsumaro to begin the Putrid Paradise myth.
How to Find Tatsumaro’s House
The first Nioh 3 Putrid Paradise myth objective requires you to visit a nearby hot spring. From Tatsumaro’s location, go through the broken gate, and turn left.

You will immediately spot a small wooden staircase that leads to the hot spring. Tatsumaro will join you for a nice relaxing bath. Listen to what he has to say and start the next objective. Return to the main path, kick down the ladder, and descend.

Follow the water path through the destroyed buildings and drop down. Take a few more steps ahead and you will walk into an ambush.

Defeat the enemies and break the Crucible spike to clear the way. You will soon arrive at the ruins of Tatsumaro’s house. Witness the cutscene and the myth will end.
How to Farm Dung Balls and Unlock the Nioh 3 Dung Ball Roller Trophy
Tatsumaro becomes an Eternal Rift resident once the Nioh 3 Putrid Paradise myth is completed. The ladder behind the blacksmith takes you to his location. Interact with him in the Eternal Rift and notice that he accepts Dung Balls in exchange for various rewards. Trade 30 Dung Balls with Tatsumaro to unlock the Dung Ball Roller trophy. Noble Dung Balls speed up the process, as these count as two regular Dung Balls.

Collecting 30 Nioh 3 Dung Balls might take a while. While you may obtain enough through normal progression, there’s an easy farming method you can use. Dung Balls mostly drop from Gaki Chief enemies and wasps.

The Cape Cavern shrine area in Tokaido is a good place to farm Dung Ball. Kill the wasps in the surrounding forests and use the shrine to respawn them until you have enough to unlock the Dung Ball Roller trophy.
