In Nioh 3 myths act as side quests. A Drop of Hope Myth is one of the more earlier examples, where you will have to make a delivery of sorts. It is a quest that begins over at the Hamamatsu Gate by speaking with a ghost regarding his tragic fate

How to Complete A Drop of Hope Myth in Nioh 3

To get this myth, go to the Hamamatsu Gate Fast Travel point. From there head over to the right, keeping along the path. Here we will find a lonely ghost who we need to speak to. He will tell you about the bandits that killed him and took the medicine he was going to use for his family.

Continue on to find a path leading towards the left. Instead of continuing on you will want to follow this left path past the bushes and greenery. From there keep going forward to find the bandit camp. Defeat the bandits. Now you have to find the medicine!

Finding The Medicine

There will be a dead bandit near an open fire! Approach the corpse and get the Physick which the ghost was going to take to his family before the bandits killed him.

But the quest isn’t over yet. You have to actually deliver the medicine, which you can do by heading to Hamamatsu Post Town. Which you can do by following the path, which leads into the actual town itself

The house you need to find will be on the right. It will be easy to spot because there is a yokai standing right in front of the doorway to the house. With how large it is, it’s kind of hard to miss! But this does mean you will need to prepare yourself for a mini boss fight against it

Yokai Mini Boss Fight

This mini boss should be easy enough to deal with. Be wary of its attacks and try to learn its movement patterns. Once you defeat the creature, go and head inside the house , where you will find the man’s wife, who has died. Interact with the corpse. Then man’s ghost will appear, and you’ll have to talk with him.

He is angry but says that he is going to go be with his wife now. The quest ends and you get rewarded with a Hair Lock, Omamori (Ninja), and Omamori (Samurai).
