Pragmata Secret Ending - How to Get the True Ending

Pragmata has a true ending you can get but in order to get it you need to do a few things. The first step is to finish the entire game. You need a full playthrough to be able to get the secret ending. It doesn’t mean you have to play through the game twice, but you do need to finish it at least once. So, yes, Pragmata does have multiple different endings

How to Get the True Ending in Pragmata – Multiple Endings

Once you complete the game at least once, go in to the main menu, and you’ll see something called Unknown Signal. The Unknown Signal is an extra game mode that is unlocked once you finish a single playthrough of Pragmata.

From there, proceed and load the data to start the process of getting the true ending.

Upon loading this new save and entering The Unknown Signal game mode, you’ll be brought to an area called the Hidden Chamber. Rather than fighting the final enemy, you need to interact with each of these pods. They contain 10 simulation missions. By completing each challenge inside these pods, you’ll be given an item.

One of those items is a mod that lets you get the true ending in Pragmata. Go through each of the ten challenges. Each of them has special conditions that must be met; otherwise, you won’t be able to officially unlock the pod, which is essential for getting that special ending.

After unlocking all the pods, enter the cabin that is now unlocked. There will be a black box containing the mod you need to get the ending. Equip it, and then you need to go back to Central Port and fight the last boss all over again.

In this special ending, the mod you equipped removes the dead filament from organic life, assuming that Hugh survives. It’s not necessary, but for those who want a more hopeful ending where Hugh survives, the secret ending is going to be something you’ll want to try to get after finishing the game for the first time.

Unlocking New Outfits Too

One additional feature that The Unknown Signal game mode has to offer, alongside the alternative Pragmata ending, are more costumes. Both Hugh and Diana have an additional 9 outfits to unlock, including their default option. Simply by working through all the required steps to unlock the true and additional ending will also result in new fancy costumes too!
