In Chapter 6 of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, you can encounter an optional puzzle, but only if you happen to spot it. Since it is not part of the main quest chain, it is very easy to miss. During The Architect: Find a Way to the Surface objective in Chapter 6, you’ll eventually pass through a tunnel while following the main route. Instead of continuing straight ahead with the story path, stop and check the left side of the tunnel. You should spot a small opening in the wall that is easy to miss if you are moving too quickly. Head through this gap to leave the main path and enter the hidden area containing the puzzle.

To begin the puzzle, head to your left and jump onto the platform illuminated by sunlight.

Once you are standing in the light, activate Light Splitting with the Sphere. You will see the light divide into red, green, and blue beams. Your goal is to aim each beam at the target with the matching color around the Minotaur structure.

Aim the green beam at the target directly below the Minotaur first. Once it is lined up, slowly rotate the Sphere while keeping the green beam in place. Adjust the angle until the blue beam hits the nearby target, then continue rotating until the red beam reaches the target on the far-right side of the room.

Once all three colored beams are connected to their matching targets at the same time, the mechanism will activate and open the passage beneath the huge statue.

Drop down and head through the newly opened doorway. Follow the staircase leading underground to reach a small crypt with a tomb inside. Interact with the tomb to claim the Sica Blade.
