How to Solve Black Temple Room Puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy (Chapter 7)

During Chapter VII – Death It Sowed, you’ll eventually run into the Black Temple Room Puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. After entering the Black Temple, you’ll first need to clear out a group of enemies before realizing there’s no obvious way forward. To continue exploring the temple, you’ll need to figure out how to open the path ahead. Here’s how to solve the Black Temple Room Puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy!

Black Temple Room Puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Solution

Shortly after solving the puzzle that opens the Black Temple Gate, you’ll enter another chamber surrounded by walls lined with skulls.

After defeating the enemies, step onto the metal plate exactly where the light shines over through the reflector on the ceiling.

Use your sphere to reveal the blue marking on the wall, then head over to it and push the skull switch. Doing so will redirect the light toward the opposite side of the room.

Head over to the other side to continue the puzzle. As you approach, the nearby wall will collapse and a group of enemies will spawn. Defeat them all to clear the area and proceed.

After clearing the enemies, step onto the metal plate and repeat the same process. Use the Key Sphere to reveal the blue marking, then locate the marked skull and push it to redirect the light once again.

The platform will shift once again, causing a pedestal to rise in front of the gate.

Interact with the pedestal in front of the gate. This won’t finish the puzzle just yet, though. Instead, the pedestal will rotate and open up the large hole in the center of the room, revealing the next section below.

Here, you’ll find several reflectors along with the colored gems you need to activate. Your goal is to use the Light-Splitting Sphere and bounce its colored beams between the reflectors until each light reaches its corresponding gem.

To get started, interact with the pedestal to move the reflector on the left side toward the center.
