The Minotaur puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is easily one of the trickiest puzzles in the game. Instead of giving you a straightforward solution, it asks you to study the clues scattered around the room, identify the correct symbols hidden across the walls, and then redirect the light toward them in the right order. To start the puzzle, roam around the platform and inspect the symbols scattered across the floor. Doing this allows Sophia to record them in her journal, which you’ll use as your main reference for solving the puzzle.

The first part of the Minotaur puzzle is split into two stages. Each stage gives you a pair of symbols that must be lit at the same time. Completing a pair causes one of the Minotaur’s hands to rise, so you’ll need to solve both sets before moving on to the next part of the puzzle.

First half

Start with this pair first. This is the easiest to solve as the symbols are already visible on the wall.

Take the left reflector and aim it at the light receptor above the T-like symbol. Then move to the right reflector and rotate it toward the receptor above the other symbol in the pair. Once both symbols are illuminated at the same time, one of the Minotaur’s hands will rise.

Second half

Solving the second half works almost the same way as the first, but this time it’s a little trickier. Instead of simply matching symbols that are already visible on the wall, you’ll need to figure out where the missing symbols should be based on the clues Sophia recorded from the floor.

To solve this part, head to the left reflector and aim it at the receptor above the triangle symbol. Then move to the right reflector and point its beam toward the circular receptor between the epsilon-like symbol and the inverted triangle.

Final part of the Minotaur puzzle

Now that both of the Minotaur’s hands are raised, you can move on to the next part of the puzzle. Head over to either hand and stand beside the ring around it, then use the Key Sphere to sweep across the ring and reveal a hidden symbol.

Go to the left reflector and aim its beam at the circular receptor above the blank symbol.

For the second symbol, use the right reflector and point it toward the unlit central reflector. Once the central reflector lights up, rotate it toward the receptor above the symbol beside the triangle symbol.
