In Schedule 1, everything revolves around illegal activities, whether it’s producing drugs, dealing them, or pickpocketing townies. But the city of Hyland Point is crawling with police officers and patrol cars, always on the lookout for anything shady. Naturally, getting caught is the last thing anyone would want, as it comes with plenty of consequences. So, here are some of the best tips to avoid getting chased, and how to escape the police in Schedule 1.
How to avoid getting arrested by the police
Playing the good guy just to stay off the police radar won’t get you far in Schedule 1. You’ll be knee-deep in all kinds of illegal activity, which means the cops could catch on at any time, so the best approach is to stay sneaky.
Avoid dealing with customers or handing out samples when police are nearby. If an officer spots what you’re up to, a white question mark will appear above them and it slowly fills up if you don’t stop. Once it turns red, they’ll immediately chase you down and attempt an arrest.
Things get a lot tougher during curfew hours. To lower the risk of getting caught, it’s safer to stick to selling outside of curfew. Just keep in mind though that skipping those late-night deals means missing out on the curfew bonus. Attacking the police can also land you in jail, or worse, get you killed.
Lastly, if the police stop you for a body search, don’t run. Let them do their thing, and instead, press and hold on any illegal items to conceal them before they’re found.
How to Hide and Escape the Police in Schedule 1
There are plenty of things you can do to escape the police in Schedule 1, here are the best ones.
Run and hide
Running and hiding is the most straightforward way to escape the police. Break their line of sight as quickly as possible, then slip into alleyways to stay out of view. Green dumpsters are essentially one of the most effective hiding spots. Just make sure no nearby officers saw you head in that direction.
Also, make sure to purchase and use a skateboard, ideally the golden one. Doing so will greatly boost your movement speed, which makes it harder for the police to reach you.
Escape the police with the help of drugs
When using drugs yourself, you can take advantage of several effects to help evade the police. For example, Anti-Gravity lets you jump higher, while Athletic and Energizing boost your running speed.
Using Cheats
When things go south, you can always rely on cheats to get away with things (pretty much like GTA). Head to the settings and enable Console Commands. Then, hit the tilde (~) key and type in any cheat. In this case, you’ll want to enter “clearwanted” to immediately get rid of the police.
