Between producing illegal goods, getting customers, restocking ingredients, and running from the police, many Schedule 1 players know that playing the game means spending a lot of time sprinting through the streets. Now, if you’re tired of running, why not pick up a skateboard instead?
In Schedule 1, skateboards are a must-have since you’ll be roaming around Hyland Point from early game all the way to endgame. With that in mind, a lot of players will want to know how to get skateboards in Schedule 1, and how much they cost.
Where to get a Skateboard in Schedule 1
Players can purchase a skateboard in Schedule 1 from the Shred Shack shop.
The Shred Shack is located in the Northtown region, directly across from the Chinese restaurant and next to Bud’s Bar. It’s run by Jeff Gilmore and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There are five skateboards available in Schedule 1, here’s how much each one costs.
- Cheap Skateboard – $75
- Skateboard – $250
- Lightweight Skateboard – $500
- Cruiser – $500
- Golden Skateboard –
$1,500
Should you buy a skateboard in Schedule 1
The skateboard is one of the most important tools in Schedule 1, helping players reach places as quickly as possible.
Naturally, the primary purpose of skateboards is to boost movement speed. They let players get more done in a single day, from delivering drugs to customers and dealers to picking up equipment and ingredients, and more. On top of that, riding a skateboard makes it much easier to escape the police.
At the start of the game, it’s highly recommended to grab any skateboard from the list, even the cheapest one will do. That said, it’s worth saving up for the Golden Skateboard as soon as possible. It has incredible speed, and even lets you weave through narrow alleyways.
More often than not, skateboards get more use than cars, unless you’re moving large quantities of items. That’s why it’s best to go for a skateboard with the highest speed.
