Best Ways to Heal in Silent Hill f

Silent Hill F is more than just scares, and puzzles, the game will also have you engage in combat against enemies like Kashimashi, Ayakakashi and Shackled Monster. If you can’t kill them fast or can’t dodge their attacks, expect to loose a huge chunk off your health. Fortunately, you can heal off that lost HP, but only if you have the right items.

How to Heal in Silent Hill F – All Heal Items

There’s a bunch of items in Silent Hill F that you can use to heal.

• Red Capsule: Red Capsule is the first healing item you’ll get to use in Silent Hill f. You’ll be able to get them as early as Chapter 1. Given that it’s the first healing item, and the most common one in the game, Red Capsule only heals a small amount of your health.
• Bandage: Bandage is the second healing consumable that you’ll encounter in the game in Ebisugaoka. It heals much better than Red Capsule, but you can only hold three bandages at a time.
• First Aid Kit: First Aid Kit is the most reliable form of healing in Silent Hill f. Unlike Red Capsule and Bandage, First Aid Kit restores your entire health. Because of that, it makes sense that this item is rarer than the first two. You can find them as soon as you reach Ebisugaoka Fields. We recommend only using the First Aid Kit when you’ve lost a large amount of health and are close to dying to maximize its effect.

• Arare: Arare is an item you can find after reaching Ebisugaoka Fields, and it heals a small amount of health, just like Red Capsules. Consuming this item repeatedly increases its effect. This item also doubles as a healing item and an offering. You can offer them in the Hokora to get 10 Faith.
• Yokan: Much like Arare, Yokan is both a healing item and an offering. It heals about the same amount as a Bandage. Offer it in the Hokora to receive 30 Faith.
• Inari Sushi: Inari Sushi is one of the most valuable items in Silent Hill f. Much like the First Aid Kit, it fully heals your health. The cherry on top is that when you offer it, it gives you 150 Faith.
• Kudzu Tea: Kudzu Tea, meanwhile, gradually heals you and slowly restores your HP. It is best used when your HP is not at a critical level, or when you’re out of combat. It can also be offered in the Hokora for 100 Faith.

Can the Hokora heal you in Silent Hill F?

Good news is, YES! In Silent Hill f, there are plenty of Hokora shrines scattered across the regions, and they can heal and restore sanity for free, but it’s not for everyone. You can only do so if you’re in the story mode. In other modes, healing and restoring sanity will cost you faith.
