As you continue to play through Silent Hill F you will, eventually, find yourself in a field with several scarecrow mannequins. This represents our next puzzle. The Scarecrow Field puzzle is not an easy challenge, as it requires being observant and making smart choices when selecting the correct scarecrow.

By getting all of the scarecrow puzzles correct. Without a single incorrect choice. Will reward you with the missable, Acupuncture Specialist trophy achievement. So be sure to save before taking on this puzzle!

Here’s how to solve the Scarecrow Field puzzle in Silent Hill F.

How to solve Silent Hill f scarecrow field Puzzle

There are five stages to this Silent Hill f scarecrow field puzzle, and the only way out is to solve the riddle and choosing the right scarecrow. Picking the wrong one will lead them to attack you, which is the last thing you’d want. Oh, and as usual, the correct answer differs depending on your chosen difficulty

(NOTE: The video features the solution to all difficulty modes. Two of which is not included in this written guide. Which is based on Story Mode)

After choosing the correct scarecrow, it will point toward the next stage, and all you need to do is follow that direction until another group comes into view. If you do, happen, to get lost just simply follow the fog and as visibility gets worse the game will automatically teleport you back to the last set of scarecrows.

But, if you are struggling to find your next puzzle, remember to follow the bits of floating hay. The wind tends to blow them in the direction you want to be heading in

Here are the answers for each.

Silent Hill F Scarecrow #1 Puzzle

“Who are you? Why do you always have to be different than everyone else? Freak.”

Choose the bob-haired scarecrow holding a sickle in her right hand. She has the ‘thorn’ or flashcard on her right shoulder.

Her body will start to move, and it’ll end with her pointing to another direction. Follow that.

Scarecrow #2

“Who are you? Honestly. You’re helpless without me.”

In the second part of the puzzle, you’ll come across another set of scarecrows. The correct one to choose is the sole scarecrow without a weapon, with the thorn located at her waist.

Scarecrow #3

“Who are you? I’ll be your friend. Otherwise, you’d be so miserably alone.”

The scarecrow for the third part is the one with a red tie and yellow bird pin on her chest. You can find the thorn near her armpit.

Scarecrow #4

“Who are you? Tell me truly, you two aren’t anything more than friends, right? I’ve always been watching when you weren’t looking, you know.”

For the fourth stage, focus on the three scarecrows resembling Shu, Hinako, and Rinko. The ones that look like Shu and Hinako face each other, while Rinko appears to be staring at Hinako. Choose Hinako and remove the thorn from her waist.

Scarecrow #5

“Who are you? You. Yes, you.”

Finally, find the scarecrow that looks identical to Hinako. She stands with her arms spread and her face tilted toward the ground. As with the first scarecrow, the thorn is on her right shoulder.
