Star Wars Outlaws Impressing Gorak is an Intel side quest that tasks Kay with retrieving a datapad from an Imperial Base. Your efforts will be rewarded with reputation towards a Syndicate of choice.

How to Begin Star Wars Outlaws Impressing Gorak

The NPC that starts the quest is Officer Covell. You will find him in Mirogana City.

Where to Find Officer Covell:

Go to Mirogana’s Market District.
Head to the eastern part of the district.
Locate the armorer.
Spot Officer Covell leaning against a wall.

As you get close to Officer Covell, he will signal you to come over. Kay finds out about the mission and where she needs to go to fulfill the Officer’s request. The quest marker will direct you to the Imperial Forward Base in Southern Falls.

Kay needs to travel to the Imperial Forward Base. The location is south of Mirogana. The map marker shows you where you need to go, however, it’s recommended that you opt for the eastern road when you get near the base. There are two sniper towers close to the base. If you approach it from the east, you only have to watch out for one. If two sniper towers are no problem, take any road you like.

Another recommendation is to sneak your way in, rather than go all guns blazing. There’s always the possibility of setting off an alarm or getting spotted by Stormtroopers. If this happens, you are branded as Wanted and become a target for all enemies. Once again, if this play style is more to your liking, go for it. Assuming that you’ll opt for the safe way in, here’s what you need to do.

Star Wars Outlaws Impressing Gorak Walkthrough

You will most likely use the Speeder to get to the Imperial Forward Base. When you get close to the base, dismount and avoid the road as Stormtroopers patrol walk up and down the road.

Sneaking Into the Base

Use the ladder and take down the sniper before they spot you.
Use stun shots to knock out the other Stormtroopers.
Go towards the Imperial Base using the left side of the path.
Spot the rock formation and head towards it.
Climb the rocks and use grapple to reach the cave outside the base.
Go through the vent in the cave to enter the Imperial Forward Base.

Advance Without Being Noticed

Make a left and climb the wall.
Spot the sniper on your left.
Use a stealth attack to knock them out.
Continue carefully along the path.
Stop when you notice the two cameras.
Command Nix to divert the first camera.
Make a run towards the red button and disable both cameras.
Notice the two Stormtroopers and sneak past them.
Use a sneak attack on the Officer.
Send Nix in to take care of the camera.

Now, you need to go through a door guarded by two Stormtroopers. There’s also a patrol walking around.

How to Get Through the Door

Hide near the wall outside of the patrol’s radius.
Wait until they get past you.
Command Nix to distract one of them.
The distracted guard will walk towards Nix.
Whistle to get their attention and knock them out.
Wait for the second Stormtrooper to come to check what is happening.
Use stun shot on the second Stormtrooper.
Repeat this strategy to get rid of the Stormtroopers guarding the door.
Command Nix to draw the camera’s attention and get through the door.

How to Reach the Room with the Datapad

Go to the left platform and grapple down into a room with two guards.
Whistle to get their attention and perform a knock out.
Have Nix distract the second one and knock them out as well.
Enter the elevator behind the two guards.

Retrieving the Datapad

Tell Nix to go into the corner to draw the Officer’s attention.
Knock out the Stormtrooper.
Knock out the Officer.
Get the datapad from the table.

Once you have the datapad, you can give it to the Pyke Syndicate or the Crimson Dawn. The reward includes 500 Credits and significant reputation with the Syndicate of choice. It’s worth noting that your Pyke reputation won’t suffer if you choose to side with the Crimson Dawn.
