Buddha’s Right Hand’s Attack Patterns
There are essentially two phases to Buddha’s Right Hand’s fight, but they thankfully share one health bar. Buddha’s right hand initially appears as a long arm and hand dangling from the ceiling, but when its health gets low, it transforms into a beetle. You also have very limited space to fight in. The hand version of the boss hits the wall a lot, causing rocks to rain down on you which you have to dodge.
During the first half of the fight, the boss will swipe its hand at you in an attempt to hit you. Stick close to the wall to try to avoid this. The hand will also rise into the air and try to slam you into the ground. The moment you see the hand rise, get ready to dodge it as it comes back down. Next, similar to the hand swipes, the hand will swing around the narrow space. Avoid this the same way as the hand swipe.
As a ranged attack, the hand will flick energy bullets in your direction. The hand will grow still and begin to slow right before it does this attack, so prepare to dodge.
When the hand transforms into a bug, it will do 2 new attacks. It will spit acid across the battle area. To avoid damage, keep your distance. During close-range combat, the bug will slam its head down on you. The moment you see its head rise, get ready to dodge.
Strategies to Defeating The Boss In Black Myth Wukong
To defeat Buddha’s Right Hand, be patient during the first phase of the attack. The hand moves a lot, so you have to time your attacks right, Immobilize it, or stagger it. During the second phase, stay behind the bug to avoid its acid attack.
