Black Myth Wukong Village of Lanxi is the first Chapter 4 area. Sun Wukong must cross this first portion of the Webbed Hollow to reach the boss and continue the story.

Sun Wukong arrives at the Village of Lanxi with Zhu Bajie – the two hide inside a chest. Zhu Bajie reckons it’s time to get out. However, an unknown woman kills the two Lesser Guai carrying the chest before you decide to pop out of hiding. Now, you can take a look around. You are on the outskirts of Lanxi, but don’t go into the village just yet.
Go back a bit up the hill you just went down and collect the Monkey-Head Mushroom. Search the building at the top for a green Wisp. Continue past the buildings and collect more plants. A second green Wisp hides in the wooded zone. Look up and you will see something in the trees.
A Puppet Spider is lying in wait. Be wary as these Yaoguai have poisonous ranged attacks. Defeat it and make your way towards the village.
Exploring the Main Area
There are two paths you can take: a road ahead and a road to the left. Before taking either, look to the right where you will see a small body of water. Collect the plants and the green Wisp after killing the Puppet Spider.
Village of Lanxi – The Left Path
Continue on the path ahead and kill the enemies you encounter. Search the open building on the right. A green Wisp lures you in but be prepared for a double ambush. As you begin to absorb the wisp, a Puppet Spider jumps you. A Dragonfly Guai joins the battle.
After you kill both enemies, spot the stairs on the left side of the lantern decorations. Take the stairs down and collect five green Wisps on the way. Notice the chest in front of the small building. Be prepared to fight off some Stone Spiders when you attempt to open it. These little spiders are annoying. Watch out when they start to vibrate as they explode dealing significant damage. Survive the wave of Stone Spiders and grab the Blood of the Iron Bull and other items.
Go back to the main road. Be careful when you try to harvest the mushroom behind the building where the Dragonfly Guai was.
The Main Village of Lanxi Path
Move along the lantern decorations to find a Beetle Captain. These are some of the most challenging foes in Lanxi Village. They deal slash and stab dual-sword attacks. Use Immobilize when they dash back after an attack.
Defeat the Beetle Captain and the Puppet Spider. Go to the back of the building and make a left. A Puppet Spider drops from the tree. Kill it and get the green Wisp.
Two roads are now available: a right path past a building and another over a stream. Along the latter, there’s a building you can enter. Defeat the Stone Spiders that spawn when you try to open the chest.
Now, go back to the right path. Walk along and get the green Wisp. Take the small bridge that leads to the building covered in webs. Take out the two Grasshopper Guai guarding it. Loot the chest for consumable items.
Estate of the Zhu
Go back to the path over the stream. There are two green Wisps you can collect. Zhu Bajie announces another ambush. As you go under the roof, a Grasshopper Guai will drop down with a stab attack.
Walk ahead and arrive at a field with spider webs hanging from the trees. Advance through the field and defeat the Lantern Holder near the archway. On the left, there’s a building guarded by a Grasshopper Guai. Head inside, take out the Stone Spiders, and loot the chest.
Search the garden outside the building. Defeat the Stone Spiders and the Fungiman hiding in the mushroom. On the right, a Dragonfly Guai waits on a ledge. Advance past the archway and go to the left to discover the Estate of the Zhu shrine.
Black Myth Wukong Village Of Lanxi – Defeat The Second Sister
Walk up the stairs from the shrine and arrive at a door. Zhu Bajie suggests disguising as the Lesser Guai who were carrying the chest at the beginning of Chapter 4. Knock on the door and a woman will answer. She will not be fooled by your disguise. She also drops her own revealing her true form, the Second Sister boss.
Zhu Bajie runs after her at the end of the fight. Let him go. Go back through the door leading to the boss’s arena. Break the glowing pot in this room to receive an Awaken Wine Worm. Check out the corner for Fragrant Jade Flowers. Take the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill before jumping into the pit after Zhu Bajie.
