Lingxuzi’s Attack Patterns

How to defeat the Black Myth Wukong boss Lingxuzi

Lingxuzi has five different attacks for you to keep an eye out for. It’ll begin the fight by leaping through the air in your direction, slashing its claws at you twice. The boss hits the ground with its left arm before attacking. That is your cue to prepare to dodge. It’ll also slash its claws at you in a basic attack while remaining still, making it easy to dodge.

Next, the boss will howl and stun you. Once you see the boss getting ready to howl, move away and out of range. Lingxuzi will also bite at your legs and you can avoid this by jumping. The final attack on this list is a combo where the boss will throw an uppercut that’ll send you flying if it makes contact. It’ll follow up this attack with a punch, slamming you into the ground. You can tell the boss is about to do this attack when it starts backing up and pauses. Quickly put some distance between you and the boss before he does this.

Strategies for Defeating Lingxuzi

To defeat Lingxuzi, avoid its combo attack, which is its strongest move. When the boss gets in close, utilize the Immobilize spell and deal as much damage as you can. Lingxuzi, despite being such a large boss, dies a lot faster than expected. Its attacks are very generic, making it one of the easier bosses in Chapter 1. If you fight Lingxuzi after beating the Wandering Wight, then it’ll seem like a walk in the park.
