The Great Ace Attorney Adventures / Chronicles – Case 3: The Runaway Room (1/3) Walkthrough

Game Guides

In our The Great Ace Attorney Adventures, which is now part of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, walkthrough we will be trying to include all of the correct evidence, including examining potential missable objects and items, advising on what subjects to press on and basically trying to help guide you through the game whilst getting the most out of it

This particular page focuses on the Case 3: The Runaway Room (1/3)

  • MAIN STORY CHAPTER: The Runaway Room
  • PREVIOUS: Case 2 – The Unbreakable Speckle Band (3/3)
  • NEXT: Case 3 – The Runaway Room (2/3)
  • We now find ourselves at the heart of Great Britain, London. Where we will be at the British Supreme Court in order to tell the news of Kazuma’s passing, and hopefully get to replace him in becoming an actual lawyer
  • A rather attractive gentlemen will now arrive claiming to be Mael Stronghart.
  • If you check out the Court Records you will notice that we now have Kazuma’s armband.
  • Feel free to examine it and give it to Stronghart, though he doesn’t really say much about it as he seems to be rather busy keeping track of time instead.
  • Anyway keep speaking to Stronghart and exhaust all of the dialogue
  • During which Stronghart will be eager to know who this other lawyer is, as he was only expecting Kazuma.
  • To which you want to reply with It’s me!
  • Obviously Ryunosuke wants to become a lawyer with Kazuma now out of the picture
  • However, since Ryunosuke has no qualifications to actually become a lawyer, Stronghart will now want to test him to see how capable he is.
  • The only problem is Stronghart will want Ryunosuke to help defend a man who is being trailed for murder, also if Ryunosuke fails then this man will get the ”Axe”. Oh boy..
  • Stronghart will then ask Ryunosuke if he is up to the task
  • Select the ‘I’ll do it‘ option
  • However, despite this Ryunosuke will then start to have second thoughts and tries to back out.
  • After a bit of convincing we can now move to the The Old Bailey
  • It is here where you will meet the man you will be trying to defend, Mr. McGilded
  • After a bit more dialogue, you will then find yourself in the Court and it will be time to put our lawyer skills to the test!
  • The prosecutor for this trail will be Van Zieks, who looks mighty suspicious already, let alone the fact McGilded regards him as the Reaper
  • Anyway we will now obtain the Autopsy Report, Crime Scene Photograph and Defendant’s Leather Gloves
  • We will also get introduced to the three witnesses; Beppo, Fairplay and Furst
  • After the introductions are over with, we will begin our first Witness Testimony which will cover What the Witnesses Saw
  • We will now need to gather more information regarding some of the following statements, we can do this by pressing further (Q – PC)
  • The statements that you want to keep an interest in is ‘Statement 3 – Then out of the blue, the accused just reached over and plunged a knife into his guts!
  • Statement 4 – That’s right. He stabbed him! I screamed, I did! Couldn’t help it
  • For this one we will get the Murder Weapon added to the court case
  • Statement 5 – As soon as I heard the scream, I stopped my bus. And, and then I saw it, too!
  • Then finally, make sure to press further on this final statement
  • Statement 1 – It, it was the last bus of the evening, so I had few customers. I remember it well.
  • The final few Jurors will give their verdicts on the case and we will receive the Debtor’s Ledger
  • With all 6 Jurors all voting against McGilded things don’t look so good for him or our team.
  • However, being the one who tends to enjoy researching and reading, Susato comes up with the a summation examination. Which is basically a law that lets us continue with our investigation. Its not over yet!
  • The game will now basically ask you if you wish to continue, of course we do! So select the Assert our right (option 1) and the court proceedings will then continue..
  • The Jurors will now explain why they think Mr McGilded is the guilty party. It will then be our job to try and counter each statement in hopes of changing their votes.
  • It is now time for the Jury Examination – The Defence’s Rebuttal
  • For this we need to pit certain statements against each other that sound out of place or incorrect.
  • The first set of statements that you need to pit against each other are Statement 2 – I trust the driver. He has an excellent memory, it seems. Four passengers, with fares totalling twenty pence and Juror 5 Statement 5 – You can trust the guild. Fair fares is our motto. We haven’t raised prices above four pence for years
  • Both of the Jurors will now change their votes, nice..
  • Now we need to continue pitting statements against each other, so let us continue..
  • The next statements that you want to pit against each other is Statement 3 – He stuck the chap next to him just like this! Brazen, I must say. Absolutely brazen! and Statement/Juror 6 – The scoundrel, it beggars belief!
  • Juror 1 will then be rather unhappy that the scales are now at equal, and will insist that the other witnesses may of seen two different moments of the crime
  • Select the ‘It’s out of the question option
  • Juror 1 will refuse to listen and this will prompt Ryunosuke to having to resort to evidence
  • Select the Autopsy Report
  • With that the court will now go on break..
