The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Mysterious Rifts is the first main quest. Together with Tri, Zelda must find a solution for the Mysterious Rifts. This part of the story takes place in the Suthorn area.
The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Mysterious Rifts – Suthorn Beach
The Mysterious Rifts main story quest takes place after the game’s prologue, where we see the waterway leading Zelda to a cave. On the right, you can see a Rock echo. Get out of the cave and you’ll find yourself on Suthorn Beach. Now, you have to face a small gooey creature called Zol. You don’t have any weapons, so use echoes and rocks to throw at it. Zols don’t have much HP. Once defeated, you can learn the Zol echo. You can now summon Zol creatures to fight for you. The water body in this area has some Rupees for you to collect.
Follow the path ahead and encounter some Sea Urchins. The Zol cannot help you in this fight, but you can take the Sea Urchins down with rocks. Learn their echo once they are defeated. There will be a treasure chest to the left. You can reach it with a combination of Tables and Decorative Shrubs. Collect the 20 Rupees and proceed to the left.
Explore the Cave Beach
The platform on the right has a cave entrance. Dive to acquire the Rupees. The small island has a Heart Piece on it. You can reach it with two Old Beds. Use the beds to create stairs to get you to the second island and the cave entrance. Defeat the Sea Urchins with stones and enter the cave.
Go down the ladder. Summon a Sea Urchin in front of the Keese. Don’t forget to learn the Keese echo. These little monsters are the best fighters you have at this point. Check out behind you to see a wall you can climb. Go up to reach the left ledge. Use Boulders to break the boxes and drop down to acquire a Heart Piece.
The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Mysterious Rifts – Suthorn Village
Leave the cave and you will arrive close to Suthorn Village. Use a table and box echoes to get to the ledge and loot the treasure chest. Follow the path to arrive in the village. Take a bit of time to explore the little settlement and interact with the residents.
Investigate the Village
Inspect the houses to find the echoes for Pots and Meat. The Trampoline near the boy can be echoed as well. The village well hides a treasure chest with five Floral Nectars. The village store has a few items for sale, however, you probably cannot afford to buy things at this stage. Don’t worry about it for now, as you can progress through this first quest without any items. You should, though, save for the Heart Piece on sale. After you are done exploring the village, head to the quest destination. Unfortunately, the road is blocked by a rift. Instead, take the eastern road leading to the Suthorn Forest. This then leads to part 2 of the Mysterious Rifts
