Valkyrie Elysium – All Hollow Blossom Locations (Chapter 1) Guide

Valkyrie Elysium has many different collectibles for players to find and collect, one of which are the Hollow Blossoms.

These Hollow Blossoms are blue flowers that are quite easy to miss. There is a total of 28 to collect during Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul. Getting and finding them all will net the following trophies and achievements; Vestige of a Soul and Beyond Reminiscence.

The Hollow Blossoms reveal spirits of the fallen and their stories.

Below is a simple guide on where to find all 28 Hollow Blossoms

#1 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Royal Professor Victor
DESCRIPTION: What exactly is a soul, I wonder. People say it’s something that everyone has within them. It’s a word that comes up in the old tales all the time, but no one seems to know for sure what it actually is. I’m sure that whoever finally works it out will unlock the secrets of life itself, and perhaps reveal the true nature of reality itself.
LOCATION: Whilst we are tasked with heading to Be’elze Castle make your way across the damaged bridge, where the Mother’s Ring subquest is located. This will put us south west of the map. Near this structure there should be a platform that we can jump to, the blossom can be found here.

#2 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Hook-nosed Shepherd
DESCRIPTION: The world was once covered in beautiful blossoms, butterflies fluttered along their way, the birds sang their pretty little songs. No one believes me, but I saw it with my own eyes.
LOCATION: Head south west of the map and jump over to the rocks cliffs beyond, you will have to jump and double jump in order to reach the actual cliffside. From there head right and up a small hill to find this one.

SPIRIT: Despaired Peasant
DESCRIPTION: Winter fell upon this land three years past now. Our crops have withered, and we stare into the jaws of a vicious famine… Oh, gods! Why have you forsaken us?
LOCATION: As you make your way to the wooden boarded tunnel you will get a tutorial on the Hollow Blossoms. To the left of the entrance is where can find this one.

#4 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Wounded Warrior
DESCRIPTION: They say the recent spate of natural disasters is because of an enormous black monster that ate the sun. News from my homeland is that the ground has split open, and the mountains have exploded. It seems there is no escape from death now..
LOCATION: Head north of the map and as you exit the tunnel you will come across this one, it is next to a tree.

SPIRIT: Angry Storekeeper
DESCRIPTION: Tax increase after tax increase, all to continue the king’s foolish campaign.. If Ragnarok really is upon us, then I wish it would hurry up and take us all into the abyss!
LOCATION: Head up the castle spire and once at the top the blossom will be on the floor to the left.

SPIRIT: Mother of Three
DESCRIPTION: Where are all these monsters coming from? They’d never show up around here before. Whatever awaits us on the other side. I just hope that we can live in peace with our families.
LOCATION: We can find this one on the grass to the right, just before we get the tutorial on Learning Skills.

SPIRIT: Dejected Young Man
DESCRIPTION: I heard a guy saying that he’d seen giants up in the mountains. And there’s talk of terrible monsters, too. This world is getting more dangerous by the day…
LOCATION: This next one is located to the west of the map. We can find it after viewing the Learning Skills tutorial and jumping over the destroyed bridge. It is not too far away from the ‘Mother of Three’ blossom.

SPIRIT: Abandoned Prophet
DESCRIPTION: Oh, woe be to the gods!
LOCATION: Head right of the ‘Dejected Young Man’ blossom and follow the path to a dead end.

SPIRIT: Valley Bandits
DESCRIPTION: Better to kill than be killed. At least, that’s what goes for normal these days. But, I won’t kill anyone. I get so lonely, see, I’m more comfortable among the hustle and bustle of a crowd.
LOCATION: From the ‘Abandoned Prophet’ simply turn and head back and from there turn right and follow the path on. We will then be heading down a small hill towards our next blossom.

SPIRIT: Axman Leon
DESCRIPTION: Undead! Evil spirits doomed to walk the earth for eternity. Abominable creatures! As enemies of my master, I shall eradicate every last one of you!
LOCATION: Head to the center of the map and you will find this one hiding behind a crate box.

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Servant Einar
DESCRIPTION: I hear that people turn into monsters if they’re exposed to the spores from those weird mushrooms you see in the backwoods. Best thing to do is to keep your distance, but I worry about the local kids playing around those areas. I wonder if we ought to find a new place to live… It would be a shame to leave our lovingly tended crops, but I guess we’ve no choice.
LOCATION: We can find this next one by a small wall just after passing through an area with several monsters and a treasure chest containing an Elixir (Small)

SPIRIT: Treasure Hunter
DESCRIPTION: The gods had a book what tells the future- ”A Seeress’s Prophecies” they called it. It’s a treasure I’ve spent ‘ole life searching for. I swear I’ll get my hands on it one day.
LOCATION: This one is in the tower foyer, next to some barrels. In this foyer we can also find a treasure chest that contains Heal I

DESCRIPTION: I’ve heard that most Valkyrie wear white armor, but that apparently isn’t always the case. Of course, that was just hearsay.
LOCATION: This blossom is located in an area full of monsters and a treasure chest containing the (Might Potion)

SPIRIT: Greedy Merchant
DESCRIPTION: Be’elze is known for producing great heroes. Didn’t you know that?
LOCATION: Head across the bridge and continue on to the blocked path full of rocks and boulders. Here we will find both a treasure chest (Magic Gem x10) and the blossom.

SPIRIT: A Braggart’s Bravado
DESCRIPTION: This must be heaven. A place free from blame, where one can do whatever they wish. Perhaps not such a great place if you lack a certain physical prowess, I suppose.
LOCATION: We will find the next one after we get the Enemy Weaknesses tutorial and arrive at the Be’elze Castle Town. From there head east to find a building next to some cargo boxes, by a wall. In between both the cargo boxes and the wall is our blossom.

LOCATION: This one is located in the castle town where it is hiding next to a building and a small wagon

DESCRIPTION: I’ve heard they’re going to be dumping all of the leftovers from the big feast under the bridge. Maybe we’ll get lucky and find something nice to eat!
LOCATION: This next one is located at the edge of the cliff, by a tree.

DESCRIPTION: Another failure…. Will nothing grow here? But I mustn’t give up. My children are hungry, they need food. Next time, it will take.
LOCATION: From the ‘Skinny Youth’ blossom head left and up the small hill. From there head right into a small dead end area and you should find it

DESCRIPTION: I’ve never met anyone with such burning passion before. He begged oh so sincerely, so I let him drink from it. Just three sips, mind you, then he up and left. But he will be back, and I’ll take him into my arms. Teehee.
LOCATION: Head to the center of Be’elze Castle Town and you will find this one in an alleyway.

DESCRIPTION: Undead! Undead are coming! Damn it, why isn’t anyone shocked by this anymore? Well, don’t say I didn’t warn you when this place gets overrun!
LOCATION: Head to a small dead end alley with crate boxes and you should find this one. It is near a treasure chest containing a Elixir (Small)

DESCRIPTION: Knight-Commander? How cool does that sound? I hope I get to be a Knight-Commander or something cool like that someday.
LOCATION: We can find our next blossom next to the wall, behind one of the buildings. Next to a bunch of crate boxes. Left of the ‘Lying Youth Michael’ blossom.

SPIRIT: Tavern Landlady
DESCRIPTION: Hey, traveller, did you hear? The princess has been betrothed! She’s so beautiful, I’m sure they’ve found a good match for her. Now the future of Be’elze should be secure!
LOCATION: This one is located north east of the map, by a locked door.

#23 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

SPIRIT: Sooty Chef
DESCRIPTION: Phew, I’m so busy right now. The orders just keep piling up! Are they never full?
LOCATION: Continue on as normal until the main objective changes to ‘Head to the center of the castle’. Here head up the steps and across the bridge. Continue on and climb up and over the pile of rubble that awaits us on our path. Shortly after passing over this rubble will be our next blossom.

SPIRIT: Guardian Myra
DESCRIPTION: I had thought that my home country was protected by its magics, but it has fallen. So it stands to reason that the kingdoms protected by the gods shall face ruin someday too.
LOCATION: In the area with the chains, not too far away from the last blossom, will be our next one. It sits on a pile of rubble.

DESCRIPTION: We’ve lost so many friends since the war began. Perhaps even Asgard is on the verge of destruction…
LOCATION: From the last blossom continue on and you will find this one along the same path.

#26 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Handyman with Stuffy Nose
DESCRIPTION: A lot of people may have died, and the land torn up something terrible, but at last I am free. Lucky for me, it seems some animals have survived too. Life always finds a way, just like I will.
LOCATION: Jump down into the hole in the ground, east of the map, and then head left to find this one.

#27 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Foulmouthed Combat Medic
DESCRIPTION: Huh? You saw a Valkyrie? Hah! I guess it must be true that they come to those close to death. But I don’t think a Valkyrie would choose a loser like you
LOCATION: Head towards the stairs that lead to the next floor and just at the bottom of these stairs is the blossom.

#28 HOLLOW BLOSSOM

CHAPTER: Chapter 1 – Purify The Soul
SPIRIT: Compassionate Knight-Commander
DESCRIPTION: Say, friend, were you able to meet with Amelia? Did you tell her how you felt about her? I’m so sorry that I couldn’t be there for you in the end.
LOCATION: Release the chains and head deeper inside the castle. We will then find this next blossom after we descend down even more stairs.
