How to Start the Foul Play Side Quest In Where Winds Meet – Celestial Seize
This quest is pretty easy to come across. Once you reach Heaven’s Pier, just walk around. Simply passing by Qiu Yuehai will unlock this quest, which will earn you a very nifty ability.
Upon speaking to Qiu Yuehai, you’ll learn about someone named Hu Wei and how he wants to teach him a lesson. He claims that during drinking contests, Hu Wei cheats. He cheats by drinking this vial called the Nullifying Pill. It’s a trick no one is the wiser to… until you expose him, that is.
This is where you’ll learn the mystic art of the Celestial Seize (basically fancy pickpocketing). It pulls distant objects to you out of combat, but in combat, it can disarm an enemy. Very useful, and in this case, it will expose trickery. Use the ability on the vial and then go challenge Hu Wei.
Challenging Hu Wei
Close by is Hu Wi, who is more than eager to engage in a challenge with you. Approach and select a challenge competition. He will attempt to take his vial, but with you having already taken it, it’s too late. A cut scene plays where his cheating is exposed, infuriating spectators.
Return to Qiu Yuehai to end the quest and get the following rewards:
- Celestial Seize
- 10k Coin
- 1k Character EXP
- 8 Echo Jade
- 5 Qinghe Exploration
- 2 Oscillating Jade
The other rewards are nice and all, but it’s the Celestial Seize that is the best reward out of the bunch. Now you’ve finished the Foul Play Side Quest in Where Winds Meet! Go forth and complete some more quests for even greater rewards.
