Playing with lighthouses is so much fun, right? Well hopefully you enjoyed them back in Silent History because continuing on from that quest is Lost History. The successor, I guess you could say in Wuthering Waves. For completing this one we will also be rewarded with the May the Beacons Guide Us trophy achievement.
How To Unlock The Lost History Side Quest In Wuthering Waves
Lost History is the second side quest in the lighthouse quest-chain. It is only available after you have successfully managed to complete the Silent History quest first. It sees us trying to find and fix yet more lighthouses. However, unlike the previous quest this time we have to find a total of five different locations, rather than just one.
To begin we will get a call from the Historian of the Jinzhou Imperial Academy. Who we can then meet over in Jinzhou. This is all part of the ending to Silent History and the start of Lost History.
Repair The Lighthouse In Desorock Highland
To begin our search for the lighthouses we can head over to Desorock Highland, which is situated west of Norfall Barrens. Here speak with the Junior Engineer. You will then find out that we need to escort her to the next destination. Simply follow her up the hill. You may also encounter several fiends to play with, heh..
We will eventually find ourselves at Camp Overwatch and the lighthouse itself. The rest is self explanatory, just like with the previous quest you will want to climb up and interact with the panel to begin the hack.
Hack Into The Lighthouse Terminal
After climbing up and interacting with the lighthouse panel we will, as before, need to solve a small puzzle. We should be used to these by now with the previous quest. The same method applies here too. Connect the coloured panels together. Make sure they actually match. On top of that the connecting lines cannot cross each other, but other than that you should not have any real issues.
Search For Treasures
After successfully managing to solve the puzzle we can now try and hunt for the reward. Our reward will be hidden by a small white sparkle on the ground. Inspect it to get a supply case containing 20 EXP, 10 Astrite and 3,000 Shell Credit.
Tiderise Cliff Lighthouse
Our next one is over at Tiderise Cliff, east of Qichi Village. This one has been abandoned altogether, so we will need to help keep it maintained. We can do this by placing the batteries into the two wall panels. Then climb up and interact with the panel to begin our next puzzle.
Same method applies to this puzzle too, it is just positioned differently. Connect the colours and find the treasure. Which is by the cliff edge. +20 EXP, x10 Astrite and 3,000 Shell Credit
Frosting Harbour
Our fourth lighthouse can be found over at Frosting Harbour. East of the Waving Battlefield. Here we will notice yet another abandoned structure, on closer inspection, this one also has branches around it as a sign of neglect. Remove and burn them by using the nearby fire pedestal.
Solve the puzzle and collect the treasure, which is just down the hill. Inside this supply case is a further +20 EXP, x10 Astrite and 3,000 Shell Credits.
Forbidden Forest
Just east of the Forbidden Forest, situated at Dim Forest. South west of the map is our fifth and final lighthouse. I say fifth because the very first one was counted in the previous Silent History quest.
Again we will need to take advantage of the fire pedestals to burn a path towards our lighthouse before we can simply run over to it and fix it. Unfortunately, we cannot go too far away from the pedestals otherwise the fire will automatically spawn back to its original location. Make sure you have a good throwing hand.
Some of these large branches that appear on the ground are actually hiding these pedestals. We need to burn and remove them all if we want to complete this task. Solve the puzzle, once again, and begin the search for more treasure.
This time the treasure is being guarded by a fiend that patrols the cliff edge. Eliminate it and search the nearby area for our next supply case. The historian will get in contact with us as soon as you open the chest and assuming that this, is indeed, your last location.
Find The Historian
To complete the Lost History quest completely we will, now, after fixing all of the necessary lighthouses, report to the historian. Over in Jinzhou. Our rewards include May The Beacons Guide Us trophy achievement. Alongside 3,000 Shell Credit, x2 Medium Energy Core and x1 Medium Sealed Tube.
