Beware of the Hidden Dangers in Peaceful Life quest. Part of the Wuthering Waves Exploration Quest that players can undertake over in Tiger’s Maw. Tasking us with assessing the situation with Xiaoyu, who seems to be in trouble. A peaceful life is always still one with plenty of hidden danger, after all.
Hidden Dangers In Peaceful Life Wuthering Waves Quest
Our first task in order to begin this quest is to head south of Jinzhou. This specific quest is also part of Act I. Anyway make sure to meet Xiaoyu outside of the Ministry of Development. At first she will begin muttering to herself about a candidate who does not seem to be settled. She will also mention the mines before getting out a small glass container with rock fragments inside. Which is actually the Lampylumen material.
Head To The Mine To Process Materials
Our next destination is over to the west, to Tiger’s Maw Mine. Here we can search for the relevant personnel. Who are all gathered by the stairs, Huayu, Lei Li and Mo Di. If you speak to them you will discover that Uncle Hong has gone missing. They will also mention the Refinery Tower being offline.
Investigate Clues Near The Transport Vehicle (0/3)
Continue along the road to begin our search for clues. Our first area of investigation is of to the right, on a small platform. It is a journal with no name on it (1/3). The next find is located opposite, situated staring at the cliff and mountainside. On inspection you will find a scrunched paper that reads ‘The Mine is getting so cold even though its summer… Miss you, mum’ (2/3)
Behind the tall pillar nearby is our third and final clue, a pop magazine which apparently has a female band on the cover (3/3). Once all clues have been found we can then report our findings over to Huayu
Head To The Elevator
After showing Huayu our findings we then need to ride the elevator, we can do this by speaking with Hua Xi and then waiting for it to come up from the depths below. Next stop the basement!
Once you arrive at the basement level Rover will mention the graph and the Refinery Tower needing sufficient power before being rebooted. Continue on and Hua Xi will start trying to get your attention, follow him.
Speak with Lei Li who will then mention a fight between both him and Modee before we can inquire about the Mine’s power supply.
Install The External Mobile Power Source (0/2)
We can now install the external mobile power source. To do this simply take one of the nearby batteries that are on the floor, where Lei Li was standing. Place them into the power source. Once done Lei Li will contact you. Activate the nearby terminal and the Refinery Tower will now be powered up thanks to the external circuit. Report back to Huaxi and ride the elevator back up.
Once you arrive Hua Xi will contact you in regards to reconfiguring the Refinery Tower next. Speak with the Dizzy Researcher nearby, who seems to be sleeping whilst still standing. Hmm..
Activate Console
After speaking with the Dizzy Researcher go ahead and activate the nearby console that Hua Xi will be currently guarding. This will present us with an all too familiar puzzle, where we need to connect the coloured circles without clashing and crossing over the wires.
Verify Through The External Terminal
After solving the colour puzzle we will receive the Uncle Hong’s Diary II. It appears that he had an emotional spat regarding research and materials. Mo Di appears. Interact with the console once again for another puzzle. Speak with Mo Di to confirm everything.
We will get a map that can be used along with the journal in order to work out where Hong could have disappeared to. Ride the elevator to the top floor. Where we can find Uncle Hong speaking with the Bistro Owner
Report back to the Ministry of Development in Jinzhou to complete the quest. We are rewarded with 400 EXP, 50 Astrite and 12,000 Shell Credit
