The No Response Tonight Side Quest in Wuthering Waves takes you from finding spare parts to doing challenges at a shooting party. In this guide, we’re covering how to hack the console, where to find the parts for the robot, and how to win at the shooting party.
Beginning the No Response Tonight Side Quest
To begin the No Response Tonight Side Quest, head to the spot north of Violet Banyan where the path ends and investigate the broken radio. The radio is by the tent, on a crate with glowing gold marker. Once you interact with it, your new objective is to investigate the big robot next to it. Once you do this, the game will instruct you to use your sensor to investigate your surroundings, which can be accessed from your wheel.
How to Hack the Console
Once you’ve investigated the area, you’ll have to hack the signal console next to the robot. To decrypt it, connect the same colors together without overlapping.
Blue: Go left 1, up 2, right 3, and down 2.
Green: Go down 1 and all the way over.
Yellow: Go right 1 and all the way up.
Red: Go right 1, down 2, and left 1.
Finding the Parts
After hacking the console, you’ll have to find three missing items to repair the robot. You’ll need to find the spare parts, the power supply pack, and the motor. The Spare Parts are the closest and easiest to start with.
Follow the markers to collect the gemberries on the ground. As you collect one, another marker appears, and you’ll repeat this about 6 times. The gemberries lead you to a rock with a gold marker. You’re attacked by the small animals that inhabit the area. You have to defeat them. Once you do, you can dig in their hiding spot to find the spare parts.
The next two markers are to the west of Settle Range. To find the power supply pack, go to the Exil camp and defeat the Exils. Once they’re defeated, a small cutscene shows you where the power supply pack is. It is on one of the three crates with a glowing blue marker.
In the same area, there is a wooden table with a flier with a gold marker. Interact with it and this will mark off the “find motor” objective, but you’ll be given a new quest: The Shooting Party. This quest has to be done in order to finish the No Response Tonight side quest.
Shooting Party Quest
Go to the new location marked on your map and wait for the shooting party to begin. To wait, interact with the chair in the grass that says “Sit down and wait” when you walk up to it.
After waiting, talk to the Exil leader. He’ll tell you about the 3 challenges and a mysterious reward. In order to participate in the first challenge, he asks for 500 credits. You can come back and deliver these credits if you don’t have them on you at the time.
Shooting Challenge 1
Hand over the credits and then go to the glowing machine to the left of the chair to start the challenge. The first challenge requires that you shoot 3 targets in 20 seconds. Aim for the flying targets with diamonds over their heads.
Shooting Challenge 2
After finishing the challenge, talk to the leader again to begin the next one. He’ll ask for 1,000 credits this time. Repeat the same process as before. This time you have 27 seconds to shoot 4 targets.
Shooting Challenge 3
Talk to the leader and he’ll ask for 2,000 credits to begin the third and final challenge. You have 30 seconds to shoot the rapidly moving targets, which proves to be an impossible feat. Once you fail, confront the leader and accuse him of scamming you. The leader and his Exils will attack you and you’ll have to defeat them.
After taking out the Exils, you can claim your reward from the chest next to the spot where the leader was standing. You’ll obtain the robot engine, which means you can now return to the robot and finish repairing it to end the quest.
