Quest Items List
There are 6 quest items that are given to you by NPCs throughout the story. The first is a Map of Felghana, given to you by a Gardener before you go to the Tigray Quarry. Next, Dewey will give you a Storehouse Key in the Tigray Quarry. This won’t be the only key you receive throughout the story as Bishop Nikolas will give you the Ruins Key before you go into the Illburns Ruins and Andre will give you the Clock Tower Key in the Dungeon of Valestein Castle.
In the East Wing of Valestein Castle, Alice will give you the Ivory Key, but this isn’t for a door. It’s for an organ in the chapel. While in the Abandoned Mine, you’ll also get the Mission Tablet.
List Of Side Quest Rewards In Ys: The Oath in Felghana
You can get five different items by completing side quests. If you help Elena in the Zone of Lava, she’ll give you the Wing Talisman. Hugo, in Redmont, will give you a Katol Elixir to exchange for four Berm Leaves.
Antonio will give you the Jade Ring if you give him 260 Raval and Randolph will give you the Talisman of War if you give him the Jade Ring. Between the Zone of Lava and Abandoned Mine events, if you help Christof return home, you’re rewarded with the Augite Brooch.
Rewards for Defeating a Bosses
After defeating specific bosses, you’re rewarded with more items, primarily statues. By defeating Z. Z. Schultiger in Valestein Castle, you’re rewarded with a Holy Cross. In the Abandoned Mine, when you defeat Istersiva, you’re given the Darkness Statue. You can also defeat Ellefale in the Tigray Quarry and get the Moonstar Statue.
When you defeat Gyalva in the Zone of Lava, you’ll receive the Sunset Statue. And, after beating Gildias in the Elderm Mountains, you’ll get the Light Statue. By defeating Death Faleon in Valestein Castle, you get an Organ Pipe. This is used to progress the game.
Items Found Inside a Chest or Exploring
Most items can be found inside chests or by simply exploring. All the statues you get from defeating bosses will show up again in different areas of Valestein Castle. You can also find a Silver Pendant in the Castle’s Church. Five Katol Elixirs are located inside of chests during the game.
A Brocia Serum is located in a chest in the Zone of Lava. You’ll also find the Lotus Hammer in a chest in the Dark Shrine.
While exploring the Elderm Mountains, you’ll come across four Berm Leaves. Lastly, once you unlock the wind-glide ability, you can return to the Tigray Quarry for Bob’s Pendant.
Items You Can Buy
While most items are discovered by exploring, you can also buy a couple of them from Cynthia in Redmont. She sells the Illusion Mirror for 50 Gold, Amulets for 50 Gold, and Katol Elixir for 10,000 Gold.
