In this Ys: The Oath in Felghana Dark Shrine Guide, we’re walking you through one of the many dungeons in the game. Dark Shrine is the last dungeon in the game where you’ll face two bosses, Bishop Garland and Galbalan. Make sure you’re a Level 50 before doing this dungeon. Read on to learn more about Dark Shrine.
Find the Silver Chimes
Once you reach the Dark Shrine, head straight. Along the way, you’ll battle a couple of enemies that are quite strong, so be careful. Unfortunately, you won’t reach a save point until the end of the dungeon. After defeating the smaller enemies, jump onto the platform by the rotating spikes on the left. Continue jumping up, avoiding any of the spikes in your path. There are a lot of enemies here, but you can keep running past them.
Once you reach the top, jump the gap on your left. When you reach the part with a hole in the ground, you can choose to go down it or continue on to find the Silver Chimes in a chest. Continue along the mostly linear path to find the Silver Chimes and then take the path on the left.
Fight Through the Dark Shrine
In the next area, continue south before making a right. When you enter a large room, jump over the platform to your right and then jump over the rotating spikes. You can use your Ventus Bracelet to help you get through the spikes here. In the next room, you’ll face a lot of enemies, so be careful here.
Double jump and use the Ventus Bracelet to get through the next set of rotating spikes. When you come across a hole in the ground, jump down into it to proceed to the next area.
Reaching the End
After you drop down the hole, you’ll come across a spiral staircase leading down. Follow it and use the save point at the end. Continue through the door to face the bosses. You’ll first fight Bishop Garland, and then Galbalan. Once they’re defeated, the dungeon is complete.
