Ys The Oath In Felghana – Abandoned Mine Guide

The Abandoned Mine is a section of the Tigray Quarry in Ys the Oath in Felghana. This is where you acquire the third statue. Let’s see how to navigate this dark and dangerous area!

Ys the Oath in Felghana Abandoned Mine Walkthrough

Before heading into the mine, complete Aida’s side quest to obtain the Nightfire Gem. Reach the Storehouse Travel Monument and go through the locked door to enter the mine. Thanks to the Nightfire Gem, you are able to make your way into the mine easier.

The Mission Tablet and Double Jump Ability

Continue on the main mine path until you reach the bifurcation. Go left and trigger the cutscene to obtain the Mission Tablet and learn the Double Jump and Double Boost abilities.

Return to the bifurcation and go right. Jump over the two gaps and loot the pot. Drop down from the gap and reach the wooden bridge. Make use of your new Double Jump ability to go right and then make your way east. You will end up in a chamber with monsters. Defeat them and collect the Raval Ore from the chest and the gold from the pot on the right.

Navigating the Abandoned Mine

Return to the last area and go down until you reach the stone floor. Go right and open the pot to receive some gold. Head west and use Double Jump to reach the next area. Continue until you get to the stairs. Take the gold from the pot and descend to reach a fork in the road. Go south, take the Raval Ore from the chest, and continue to the west. Take the stairs down and head west over the bridge. Go over the west gap using Double Jump and loot the chest. Defeat the Duradels to collect an Emerald.

Jump back and go east, taking the stairs to the next area. Loot the pot on the right and head west. Make a left and you’ll reach the place where you’ve dropped from the bridge. Go down the stairs, go east, and Double Jump to reach the platform with the pot. Continue down the stairs and Double Jump to the left to get to the platform with the Katol Elixir.

Jump down on the right, get rid of the enemies, and go east. Now, go north and then east. Double Jump on the rocks behind the stairs and collect the Raval Ore from the chest. Return to the stairs and Double Jump to the left to reach the next area. Use Double Jump again to go over the platforms with the monsters below. Jump over another platform, Double Jump to the right, and once more to the left. Grab the Raval Ore from the chest.

The Encounter with Istersiva

Drop down and make your way over the three platforms using Double Jump. Continue west and go down the stairs to reach the Travel Monument. If you wish, go back to Redmont Town to prepare for the fight against the Abandoned Mine boss, Istersiva.

Once the boss is down, collect the Darkness Statue and go back to Redmont Town.
