Fortune & Colors is a time-limited Marvel Rivals event. Celebrating the Lunar New Year, the game introduces a new mode known as the Clash Of The Dancing Dragons. Which is a mixture of both football/soccer and Rocket League. This event also featured many new and exciting rewards. Such as a new skin outfit for Star Lord and an MVP animation. Marvel Rivals Fortune & Colors – How the Spring Festival Works
As already mentioned the spring Fortune & Colors event has a limited duration. It first started on January 23rd 2025 and ran until February 14th 2025. Giving you roughly three weeks to enjoy the new mode and collect all the items. The rewards include sprays, nameplates, emotes, and more.
Similar to other Marvel Rival events, the Spring Festival challenges participants to earn the special event resource by completing missions. The newly introduced Danqing serves as event currency. Danqing is a Chinese word meaning red and cyan. It is a painting term denoting two of the most popular colors used in the ancient technique of silk and Xuan paper painting.
Fortune & Colors Missions and Challenges
Event missions are tied to the new mode, Clash of Dancing Lions. This is a soccer-themed mode that invites players to choose one of the three featured heroes and collect points by scoring goals. While playing this mode, the heroes’ abilities have been modified to perform soccer-specific actions, such as passing the ball and kicking.

All objectives have to be completed in Clash of Dancing Lions mode.

These are the challenges you can complete throughout the event to earn more Danqing. You can finish these objectives while playing other modes, such as; Quick Match and Competitive Mode

| Perform a four KO streak with The Punisher, Star-Lord, Scarlet Witch, or Black Widow | 25 Danqing and 80 Chrono Tokens |
How to Unlock the Spring Festival Rewards
The event page features a painting you must color using Danqing. The event festival currency. The rewards become available as you color the illustration. You will need 1,000 Danqing to acquire all the rewards. Whilst a new Star Lord skin outfit is available by using a total of 900 Danqing. You can also purchase both the Iron Fist and Black Widow skins from the store.
All outfits for Star Lord, Black Widow and Iron Fist are the same ones that are used during the Dancing Dragons soccer mode.
