Joshua Rosfield is another main protagonist in Final Fantasy XVI. He is the younger brother to Clive Rosfield and the second son to the Archduke of Rosaria.
Despite the low expectations Joshua became the Dominant of the Eikon, Phoenix. Which was the power that was originally intended to be given to his older brother.

Joshua has great admiration for Clive and for those around him. Though he is not as strong or brave. After the appearance of the dark Eikon, Ifrit, he, just like his brother, ends up getting caught in the chaos that now threatens their home.
He is only 10 years of age and tends to dislike carrots. Often turning his nose up at the mere thought of them being added to his dinner plate.
Joshua Rosfield is voiced by Logan Hannan, who re-joins actress Charlotte McBurney (Jill Warrick). Both of whom voiced in the award winning video game series, A Plague Tale. As well as voicing the character of Hugo, Logan has also managed to voice several characters in the 2023 title, Hogwarts Legacy.
In the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XVI, the character of Joshua Rosfield is voiced by Natsumi Fujiwara. Who is known for her role in the 2023 title, Wild Hearts. As well as Exile Election (Yuri Himeno)
