The Duskveil boss is a secret boss in the fourth chapter and he can be found at Purple Cloud Mountain. There are two phases to this fight. Important Note about Duskveil In Black Myth Wukong
Before we begin, it is important to note that if you chose to fight Duskveil before fighting the Scorpionlord and Daoist Mi then you’ll be locked out of those fights. Make sure to fight them first. If you choose not to, the Scorpionlord will actually appear during this fight and focus his attacks on the Duskveil. While this is helpful, you lose out on the Scorpionlord’s rewards.
The Boss Attack Patterns
Duskveil begins the battle by throwing eight blades at you at once. Stay between the blades to avoid getting hit. Since this is a flying boss, it’ll rely on jumping attacks. In one such attack, it’ll jump into the air and try to land on you. Dodge while it’s still in the air.
If you’re attacking the boss at short range, he’ll sometimes stomp the ground once or twice in an attempt to deal damage. The moment you see the boss raise its leg, dodge. Also at close range, the Duskveil can punch you once or twice. When you see it move its arm, dodge.
If you’ve managed to put some distance between you and the boss, be wary. The boss will charge you twice and it’ll happen pretty fast. Keep a close eye on it and be ready to dodge it at any moment.
How to Defeat Duskveil
While this boss isn’t as difficult as others, the two different phases are what make it challenging. Once you get Duskveil to zero health, this will trigger a cutscene and he’s much stronger after. Try to reserve all your spells and gourd for the second round of this battle.
