In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master guide, we’re covering this boss’s attack patterns and how to avoid them. The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master can be found in the Temple of Yellow Flowers during the fourth chapter. There are two phases to this battle, each with unique and deadly attacks.
The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master Attack Patterns Phase 1

The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master has one of the largest sets of attacks, with fourteen different attacks across two different phases. Multiple attacks rely on his sword, with some of them infused with electricity.
In his simplest combos, he’ll swing his sword down or to the side. When he raises his sword, that’s your cue to dodge. He also has a triple sword swinging combo. He’ll swing to one side, then the other, before swinging down. Dodge backwards to avoid the first two swings, then to the side to dodge the final one.
Next, the boss will throw his sword at you, go underground, and then remerge where his sword is. Run to avoid the sword and keep running to avoid his next attack. The boss has two similar electric sword attacks. In one, he swings his sword while his hands are infused with electricity, ending the attack with a bolt of electricity from the front. In another, the sword is infused with electricity. To avoid these attacks, dodge to the opposite side of the sword and then run to the side to avoid the electric bolt.
The boss switches things up with these next attacks. He’ll use his front legs to try and stomp you and then stab his sword into the ground. Dodge backwards with each attack. He then digs into the ground, leaving only the centipede half of his body exposed. He sweeps it around him and spills pools of poison around him. Dodge and run back to avoid this.
In another poison attack, the boss will vomit poison in front of him. Dodge to the side. Lastly, the boss will create talismans that will temporarily follow you. While he’s charging up, move away, and then dodge the talismans right before they hit you.
The Boss’s Attack Patterns Phase 2

In the second phase of the attack, the boss has new electric, wind, and physical attacks. He’ll swing both his arms up, creating a gust of wind meant to lift you. When you see his body lower, dodge to avoid the wind.
The boss will charge an electric attack, vanish, and then slam the electric ball into you when he reappears. The moment he vanishes, run away. In another electric attack, the boss will disappear, activating lightning strikes. When he reappears, he’ll slam into the ground. The bolts will follow you, so keep running.
He creates magic talismans again, but they’re a little different this time. He’ll slam into the ground and the magic will appear over your head and explode. Dodge when you see him charging to avoid the slam, then perfectly time your next dodge to avoid the explosion.
Lastly, the boss will slam its lower body into the ground, before raising up. The ground will rise with him before slamming back down again. You have to perfectly time your dodges for these three attacks.
