In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Kang-Jin Loong guide, we’re giving you the details you need to defeat a Yaoguai King. Kang-Jin Loong is a boss in the third chapter and it can be found along the Snowhill Path, near the Mirrormere Keeper’s Shrine. It is on the frozen lake.
Making Boss Preparations

To prepare for Kang-Jin Loong, we recommend having the Cloud Step spell. This spell allows you to teleport and it’s very useful with an enemy like Kang-Jin Loong, who moves around a lot. A Pluck of Many is another good spell to have since you can create multiple versions of yourself that’ll attack the boss. Since this boss tends to deal shock and chill damage, having armor or Body Warming Powder will give you the extra advantage.
Unlocking the Composure skill will also help since it upgrades how much Stamina dodging and sprinting consume. Lastly, using a spirit like Gore-Eyed Daoist is a good idea because Kang-Jin Loong can be hard to hit and this spirit creates an Area of Effect zone.
The Boss Attack Patterns

This boss begins the fight with a strong attack. The dragon flies up into the air and charges towards you. This isn’t too difficult to dodge since it’s charging from a distance, and because it’s low to the ground it’s a good opportunity to cast the immobilize spell. The dragon also does a double bite that produces lightning bolts around it. Dodge the bites. Occasionally it’ll bite three times.
If you start seeing it flying in a circle, then run away. This means the dragon is about to do an attack that creates a whirlwind and sends you flying back. Next, this dragon breathes ice rather than fire. This attack is powerful since it can reach you from a distance. Run away when you see it open its mouth to charge for the attack. Lastly, it has a Lightning Area of Effect attack that it does while in the air. It’ll cover nearly the entire battleground and your only option is to run.
How to Defeat Kang-Jin Loong

To defeat the boss, aim for its head as much as possible and immobilize it when it’s at your level. This gives you the chance to land multiple hits. If you deal enough damage, you can knock the dragon down and deal more damage. In between attacks, keep dodging!
