In this Black Myth: Wukong How to Defeat Red Boy / Yaksha King, we’re walking you through how to defeat this terrifying Yaksha King. This boss has two phases, Red Boy and Yaksha King. He can be found in Chapter 5 in the Field of Fire. He must be defeated in order to progress the story.
How to Defeat Red Boy In Black Myth Wukong
First Phase – Red Boy Boss
In the first phase of the fight, you’ll face off against Red Boy. Red Boy fights with a staff. He’ll swing it around, which sometimes shoots out flames, before he swings it towards the ground. When he hits the ground, it’ll release fire. Keep your distance when he is doing this attack and dodge backwards if you’re too close. He can also spin his staff and create a flaming wheel that shoots out streaks of fire. The streaks will follow you. This is a good time to use Pluck of Many and attack him, which can stop his attack.
Next, he has an attack where he’ll float into the air, create copies of himself, and use them as projectiles. After they’ve all charged you, he himself will charge you. Dodge right before the clones hit you. Lastly, he’ll spin his staff, which lets out an explosion of fire in front of him. Start putting distance between you and him when you see him spinning his staff. If you catch on fire, roll to extinguish the flame.
How To Defeat Yaksha King Boss
Second Boss Battle Phase – Yaksha King
In the second phase of the fight, you’re battling the Yaksha King. He is less mobile and has a similar set of attacks with 4 new ones. In one of the new moves, he’ll throw his sword at you 4 times. You can use Pluck of Many and let your clones take the damage.
He does a sword combo where he swings at you about 5 times. The attacks are slower, so they’re easier to dodge. He also has a move where he spins its sword and it grows longer. If you see it growing and charging, immediately jump.
Lastly, the Yaksha King has an AOE attack where he jumps and slams his sword into the ground. This causes more swords to shoot from the ground 2 times. When you see him jump into the air, start backing up as quickly as possible.
