In this Dragon Age: The Veilguard All Companions guide, we’re covering all seven (7) companions that can join Rook on their adventure to defy the gods. Each companion is part of the main story quest and, therefore, should not be missable.
Lace Harding (The Scout) Companion
Lace Harding is a dwarf and warrior who will join you on your quest to stop the gods. If she looks familiar, that’s because she was a scout in Dragon Age: Inquisition who usually briefed you after you arrived at a new location. Lace joins the party automatically at the start of the game.
Neve Gallus (The Detective)
Neve Gallus is a human mage that you meet in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. She is associated with the Shadow Dragons, a new group introduced in the game. Nerve is a detective that you meet during the first quest of the game when you’re trying to stop Solas’ ritual.
Companion Ballara Lutare (The Veil Jumper)
Ballara Lutare is an elven mage who is good at tinkering. She’s also a Veil Jumper. You meet Ballara after the prologue when your group returns to the Arlathan Forest. She joins the group in search of a mysterious magic and blight.
Lucanis Dellamorte (The Mage Killer) – Dragon Age The Veilguard
Lucanis Dallamorte, also known as the Demon of Vyrantium and a mage-killer is a human rogue who works for a group of assassins called the Antivan Crows. He is the first companion that you have to go on a hunt for. He is located in a prison.
Davrin (The Warden) In Dragon Age The Veilguard
Davrin is a human warrior who works with the Grey Wardens. He is the second companion that you have to hunt for. He is in Dock Town and joins the group during A Warden’s Best Friend quest.
Companion Emmrich Volkarin (The Necromancer)
Emmrich Volkarin is a human mage who works with the Mourn Watch. He is one of the last two companions that you can recruit. He’s located in Nevarra’s Necropolis and joins the group during the quest called Where the Dead Must Go.
Companion Taash (The Dragon Hunter) In Dragon Age The Veilguard (DATV)
Taash is a Qunari who works with a rich group called the Lords of Fortune. She is one of the last to join the group during the quest called The Dragon Slayer.
