Dragon Age the Veilguard Spirits of the Dalish is a side quest that helps Rooks gain popularity with the Veil Jumpers faction. Let’s see what you need to do to complete this side mission and find all of the necessary five (5) mementos.

How to Start Dragon Age the Veilguard Spirits of the Dalish

Begin by making your way to Arlathan Forest. Go southeast of the forest and look around for an Anxious Spirit NPC. You should find it on a boat. Interact with the Spirit and accept the mission. You must retrieve five mementos belonging to a Dalish clan that found its demise in the woods.

Head to the north side of the forest. The mementos are in this area. Don’t forget to activate the quest tracker to show you the exact location of the mementos. Even though the quest markers tell you where you need to go, collecting the mementos is more than a simple pick-up task.

How to Find the Five Mementos

Here is what you need to do to acquire the five quest items. Go into Arlathan Forest and make a right. You will come across a group of enemies that shouldn’t pose much of a threat. Defeat them and keep going.

First Memento

You will reach a shipwreck in the water. Notice the burned dead bodies. Investigate them and collect the first memento.

Second Memento

From the location of the first memento, go under the bridge. Continue until you get to the trap rune. Activate the trap and destroy the wall. The explosion forms a small cave in which you will find the second memento.

Third Memento

Go back to Arlathan Forest and make a right. You know you are on the correct path if you encounter some demon enemies. Slay them and look around to find the third memento on the nearby rocks.

Fourth Memento

Retrace your steps back and go to the southern side of Arlathan Forest. Another group of demons blocks your path. Defeat them and continue until you find a broken mirror flanked by two skeletons. You cannot miss it as it’s quite big. That’s where the fourth memento is.

Fifth Memento

To find the last memento, go south from where you’ve found the fourth memento. Make a right until you encounter deer carcasses. Follow the corpses until you reach a large rock. Investigate the stones to reveal the fifth memento.

How to Complete Spirits of the Dalish

Once you have found all the mementos, go back to the quest giver. The last task is to perform a ritual. Notice the Owl Statue on the boat. Go behind it and have Harding move the rock that is obstructing the path. Climb the rocks and move the rocks back with Harding’s help. Enter the portal to finish the ritual and complete the mission.
