How to Romance Emmrich in Dragon Age: The Veilguard (DATV)
In order to romance Emmrich, you’ll have to do all his companion quests, which are Walking the Graves, House of the Dead, and Arrangements. During these quests, you will have flirtatious dialogue options to choose from to gradually progress the romance. You can also buy Emmrich a gift, a Haunted Statuette that can be bought from the Mourn Watch merchant.
Make sure to talk to Emmrich frequently in the Lighthouse between quests. You will come across timed interactions that will also progress the romance.

If you fail to select the correct dialogue options during segments of Dragon Age The Veilguard (DATV), you could potentially lock yourself out of romancing Emmrich. Most of the options become available during his companion quests.
Important Decisions
To show romantic interest in Emmrich, select the dialogue option “I find you dashing” after the House of the Dead companion quest. You won’t commit to an exclusive romance with Emmrich until after the Arrangements companion quest. Select “Never lonely” to commit to a relationship with him. After that, the romance will continue to unfold for the rest of the story.

I adore his romance. It’s the only time I haven’t avoided something death themed, because with him it’s a totally different approach. He celebrates life while honoring history and culture.
I can’t understand the blind hate this game gets. Having played the whole franchise, this feels like the best of the past, but truly building & improving while keeping the same flavor. It holds its own, but if you’ve played the whole series, you’ll salivate over the lore here.
