To obtain it, you must observe all Solas’ memories and choose your answers carefully when you interact with Mythal. This section occurs during the Regrets Of The Dread Wolf Side Quest. Complete the Regrets of the Dread Wolf Side Quest

First things first, you need to complete the Regrets of the Dread Wolf side quest. This is one of the lengthiest and most important side missions.

To complete the Regrets of the Dread Wolf side quest, you must acquire six Wolf Statuettes. Here is how you can obtain them:

• Complete dream sequences in the Crossroads.
• Unlock the Gate of Lost Ages and explore the area.
• Unlock the Gate of Faded Glories and explore the area.
• During the Shades of the Blight quest.

The quest starts automatically when you get the first one. There is no specific order in which you must acquire the six statuettes. Most players will begin the quest when they get the statuette from the Shades of Blight quest, as it’s part of the story campaign.

Interaction with Mythal

You witnessed all six memories and got to the part where you meet Mythal. This is the most important phase, as the answers you will pick during the conversation determine whether you get the trophy or not.

Here are the dialogue options you can choose during the conversation, with the answers needed for the achievement highlighted.

Choose these answers and Mythal will then say “Your arguments are…compelling. I find you worthy, Rook”. You will receive Mythal’s Light as a reward, faction strength, and bond increase with your party members.

Mythal’s Light is a unique Longsword. Which adds various elemental damage including Fire, Necrotic, Electricity and Cold.

If you don’t convince Mythal, she transforms into Mythal’s Retribution, a 45 level High Dragon. You will not get the achievement, but you will collect some nice rewards. You still get the Essence. One trick that you can do is to save your game before talking to Mythal. Choose the answers that grant you the achievement and then reload the save and fight her. This way, you can grab the achievement and also experience the fight. Mythal’s Retribution is NOT one of the High Dragons needed for the Bringing Down the Sky achievement.
