Let’s see where you can find all of the High Dragons and which count towards the achievement.
How to Find All the Dragon Age the Veilguard High Dragons
There is a total of seven (7) High Dragons that players can find in total. They can be found throughout the world
Corius the Icetalon and Seartooth Vyrantus

Rook’s first dragon encounter is against Corius the Icetalon or Seartooth Vyrantus. Depending on which town you choose to save, Treviso or Dock Town, you will face a different dragon. No matter your option, you are in for a serious fight. Both dragons are formidable enemies, especially at lower levels. The good news is that you don’t need to kill them to end the battle. Just give them a serious beating to complete the quest. They team up for a second encounter with Rook later in the story.
Mythal’s Retribution High Dragon

To be able to fight Mythal, you need to complete the Regrets of the Dread Wolf side quest. It starts when you acquire a Wolf Statuette. You will come across the first one early in the game. Return to the Lighthouse after you have collected all the statues and watch the memories they encompass. You will be transported to the Crossroads fast travel point where you access a new area. To fight Mythal’s Retribution, you need to trigger her anger by choosing certain answers during the conversation.
Revenant Dragon

The Revenant High Dragon is the most challenging, both in terms of unlock conditions and battle strategy. You start by collecting Champion Essences from Champion enemies all around the world. These essences open Crossroads doors, unlocking Revenant enemies that drop Revenant Essences. These essences open the door behind which you will find the Revenant Dragon.

The second quest, Slaying the Fangscorcher, tasks you with defeating this High Dragon. The fight is not that challenging. Make sure to move out of the fiery breath attack and pay attention to the dragon’s weak points.
Kataranda the Stormrider

Once Fangscorcher is down, Taash has the next target in sight. Kataranda the Stormrider is another quest in Taash’s quest line. By this time, you should have enough practice with these specific style of fights. Don’t rush in, instead wait for an opportune moment to attack its weak spots.
Kaltenzahn High Dragon Location In Dragon Age The Veilguard (DATV)

This is the third and last dragon on Taash’s list. The final mission in Taash’s quest line is called Lair of the Dragon King. You will travel to the Sharkmouth region on the Rivain Coast. The Kaltenzahn encounter is similar to the previous fights, the only difference being the smaller battle area, giving you less room to avoid its fiery attacks.
The Formless One

The Formless One High Dragon is not part of any quest. Rooks has to complete a few tasks to unlock this specific flying beast. After you have access to the Necropolis Halls, interact with Myrna, who gives you a side quest. You will have to fight three Revenants in three different locations. Each enemy is called the Formless One. Return to the Necropolis Halls after defeating them and enter the newly opened room where you will find the Formless One.
