Disney Dreamlight Valley – Photographic Memory (Scrapbook) Guide

Game Guides

Another interesting quest that we can find and try to complete is Photographic Memory. This specific quest requires us to take photographs and photos of various different trees, animals, and more..

Our first objective is to photograph the various trees, all of which need to have fruit on them. This includes the Apple Tree, Raspberry Bush, and Banana Tree. You do know your trees, right?

Anyway we can get this specific quest by finding and speaking with Goofy. Here Goofy will mention his new project, which involves a scrapbook. We will then be tasked with taking the pictures of the trees so that they can indeed by added to the said scrapbook.

We can take photographs by selecting the camera option on the tool wheel.

(Note: Remember we are meant to be taking photographs of the required tasked object itself. If you find yourself in the photo, sometimes it won’t count. The required objects needs to be in full view)

This quest is part of the Goofy Friendship Questline. It will be available after having completed the A Warm Welcome quest.

PREVIOUS QUEST: A Warm Welcome

NEXT QUEST: The Mysterious Wreck

TAKING PHOTOS OF THE TREES

APPLE TREES

These can be located on the map. They should be easy enough to find, a few of which are located to the east. There is even some in the plaza. Just, when you do manage to find one, make sure it has apples and fruit on the tree before taking the photo.

RASBERRY BUSH

The raspberry bush will also have apples on it. We can locate one of these bushes by the pond.

BANANA TREE

We can find the banana trees by the stairs, next to the pond.

TALK TO GOOFY

After you have managed to take all of the necessary pictures of the trees that we need, we can then speak with Goofy. We are not done yet!

It will now be time to take photos of various animals, this includes both squirrels and rabbits.

TAKING PHOTOS OF ANIMALS

SQUIRRELS

Squirrels are located within the Plaza area. They tend to enjoy running around, on top of that they are also a bit camera shy too. You will need to be quick and keep your eyes peeled for these little critters.

RABBITS

Meanwhile the rabbits can be found hoping around the meadows, enjoying the gardens and pond life.

REPORT TO GOOFY

Once you have the next set of required pictures and photos we can, once again, report back to Goofy. We are, you guessed it, we are not done just yet. This time we need photos of plants and flowers.

TAKING PHOTOS OF PLANTS / FLOWERS

RED DAISY

The red daisy are basically large plants that are both red and white in colour. They look like and seem to resemble mushrooms. It is located in the meadows section of the map.

GREEN RISING PENSTEMON

These tend to look a bit like weeds.. They are small and tend to camouflage well within the grass. It is located in the meadows section of the map

DANDELION

Dandelions are yellow flowers that are located within the Plaza area.

WHITE & PINK FALLING PENSTEMON

These rather delightful looking plants are also in the Plaza area. They are sometimes located right next to the dandelions.

As their name suggests they are both indeed white and pink in colour. They also seem to look rather familiar to a typical dandelion.

RETURN TO GOOFY TO SHOW HIM YOUR PHOTOS!

After all of the photos have been taken we will then need to report back to Goofy, thankfully this is for the last time for this quest. Once you have spoken to Goofy we can then wrap this one up!
