Dune Awakening – Eighth Trial Of Aql Solution

The Eighth Trial Of Aql is the last challenge in the Dune Awakening Fremen questline. This final trial is the most complex, as it consists of two puzzles and a combat challenge. You can begin by searching Sietch Ta’lab. During this specific quest you will also be given a quiz to solve. You will also be rewarded with Ari’s Pistol and Fremen Deathstills crafting

How to Find the Eighth Trial of Aql

Before setting for the last trial, equip yourself with a shield and have your gear in order. The location you must reach is Sietch Ta’lab, where the Eastern Shield Wall intersects with Mysa Tarill and Jabal Eifrit Al-Gharab.

Start from the spot on the edge of Mysa Tarill to the north of Sietch Ta’lab. Follow the cliff wall until you see a blue symbol marking the entrance.

How to Conquer the Eighth Trial Of Aql in Dune Awakening

The trial consists of:

• One quiz.
• Two puzzles.
• One combat challenge.

The Quiz

As soon as you get inside, you will stumble open a locked door. Interact with it and start the quiz. If you want to test your Dune lore knowledge, you can attempt this part without guidance. You can restart without any penalty, should you give the wrong answer.

If you wish to get over this part as effortlessly as possible, give these answers in the following order:

• Nilotic al-Ourouba.
• Poritrin.
• Salusa Secundus.
• Bela Tegeuse.
• Rossak.
• Thurgrod.
• Harmonthep.

The scholar Ari will team up with you. Use the Cutteray to get rid of the boulder and take the stairs to get to the next part of the trial.

The Puzzles

The Symbol Puzzle

Notice the symbols on the walls. To solve this first puzzle, you need to select the right symbols on the door. This is another history lesson, as you can figure out the correct order by listening to what the Solido hologram is saying.

The solution is:

• Lesson 1: Bind, Dune, Grass.
• Lesson 2: Planting, Shelter, Downwind.
• Lesson 3: Animal, Aerate, Sand.

The Ring Puzzle

To solve the second puzzle, you have to align the discs to the correct pattern. This is how you need to position the rings.

Align them and interact with the altar. Watch the cutscene and locate the console on the left side of the chamber. Interact with it to get to the last stage.

The Combat Test

The combat test is not that challenging. Some Worm Cultists will come at you. Use your weapon of choice to defeat them.

Once they are dead, exit through the narrow door. The rewards for completing the 8^th Trial of Aql include Ari’s Pistol and Fremen Deathstills crafting unlocked.
