The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- My White-Haired Angel side quest can be found in the Nibel Region during Chapter 11. This is a quest done with Tifa.
Beginning the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- My White-Haired Angel Side Quest
To begin the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- My White-Haired Angel side quest, find the Nibelheim Noticeboard and pick up the Head Chef’s Request. You can find the Head Chef inside her home in the Water Tower Square of Nibelheim. The Head Chef introduces herself as Christine. She tells the group that the cat she feeds is missing and she’s super worried. Tifa points out that it’s a job Cloud can do and he has three dialogue options.
- “We’ll find your cat.”
- “You sing often?”
- “She’ll come back.”
Select “We’ll find your cat” to begin the quest. She tells you to start looking for the white cat around the foot of Mount Nibel. She gives you a bowl of cat food to feed her.
Finding the Cat
The fastest way to travel to Mount Nibel is on the back of a Chocobo. When you arrive, you’ll both hear and see the white cat. As you chase after it, you’ll come across fiends called Kyuvilduns and Nibel Wolves. Defeating the Kyuvilduns gives you EXP, AP, 210 gil, and two saint luche leaves. The Nibel Wolf gives you EXP, AP, 680 gil, and beast talons.
After defeating the fiends, you’ll find the cat in a nest, surrounded by kittens. She is very defensive and Tifa recognizes the cat as her childhood cat named Fluffy. She feeds Fluffy after she calms down and she recovers her strength
Saving the Kittens
Seven flying fiends called Guard Bees attack, scaring off all the kittens. You have to defeat them while also protecting Fluffy from harm. Defeating them gives you EXP, AP, improved materia, and gil.
Your next objective is to follow Fluffy as she looks for her kittens. You’ll come across more Guard Bees attacking the two of the kittens and you have to kill the fiends and protect the kittens and Fluffy.
Fluffy will run off again for the other kittens and you’ll find more Guard Bees plus a Queen Bee attacking them. Defeating the Queen Bee gives you EXP, AP, and gil.
Tifa thinks that the fiends hurt the kittens and Fluffy. She recommends taking them back to the Head Chef so she can take care of them. You have to lead Fluffy and the kittens back to the village yourself and ensure they don’t wander off along the way. As long as you don’t lose sight of Fluffy, it isn’t too difficult, and if you do, turn around and go back to her and she’ll begin following you again. Fluffy and the kittens run to Christine as soon as you reach the Village and you’ll have to chase them down.
Playing the Piano
The Head Chef notices that Fluffy wants her to play the piano, but she admits that she is too tired. Cloud volunteers Tifa and the chef runs off to gather an audience. Approach the piano and the game will ask you if you want to play. You have three options.
- “Practice.”
- “Quit.”
- “Begin Performance.”
If you aren’t ready to continue, select “Practice” to warm up. Select “Begin Performance” to continue the quest. You’ll play as Tifa in a mini-game where she plays the piano. Use the left and right analog sticks to move them in the corresponding directions on the screen.
Rewards for the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- My White-Haired Angel Side Quest
The Chef gives Tifa Way of the Fist Vol. V as a reward for playing the piano and she gains 10 SP.
You’ll be rewarded for completing the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth- My White-Haired Angel side quest with party EXP, EXP for Cloud, and your relationship with Tifa deepens.
