During the Missed Connection quest in Grounded 2, you’ll be tasked to investigate the Snackbar Anthill after following Sloane’s coordinates. This is one of the first few quests in the game, but some might still find it confusing. If you’re one of these players, here’s how to Investigate the Snackbar Anthill in Grounded 2, and some useful tips.
Grounded 2 Investigate the Snackbar Anthill
As the name suggests, you’ll need to go through an Anthill where you can expect to fight some enemies, and get a bunch of rewards and discoveries. When entering this Anthill, we recommend bringing a torch, getting your omni-tool and preparing yourself for a battle. Armors crafted using a Workbench would be nice as well, especially if you’re not confident about your fighting skills yet.
Enter the Anthill
Follow the marker on the map and enter the Anthill. Upon arriving there, continue walking ahead. We recommend having at least one torch while exploring the anthill, as it can be pretty dark inside regardless of whether it’s day or night.
Destroy the Pebble
Walk down until you see glowing slime glow sticks. Pick the right direction, then walk straight up ahead until you reach two pebbles that are blocking the path. Get your omni-tool and bust them until they break.
Search the Body of the missing Omminent employee
By the end of it, you’ll find a dead Scientist’s skeleton on the ground. Now, you must go near it and investigate. But before you can do that, you’ll first have to fight a Red Soldier Ant. This enemy is rather stronger and beefier than smaller bugs, so try to block their attacks as you lower their HP.
After that, investigate the body and you’ll receive:
- Omni-Tool Shovel Upgrade
- Subterranean Subterfuge
You will also have to dig for a nearby treasure near the skeleton. Interact with it and you’ll receive Snackbar TURBO Optical Disk and Myrmecologist Token. Around the area, you can also grab some Red Ant Egg and Clay!
