In Heartopia, there is a few currencies you might come across, and with so many in the game, it can get confusing. Between Gold, Exhibition Passes, Wishing Stars, and Moonlight Crystals, it’s easy to lose track of what does what and how to get them.
So, without further ado, here’s a quick guide to all Heartopia currencies and the best ways to earn them.
Every Heartopia currency and how to get
Heartopia features seven in-game currencies, each with a different function. Here’s what they do and how to get them.
Gold
Gold is the most common currency in Heartopia, and once the game hooks you, it’s easy to see how quickly it can run out. You’ll need gold to buy all sorts of things, clothing, furniture, building parts, seeds, bait, and more. The easiest ways to farm gold consistently are by completing resident requests, finishing main and side quests, redeeming codes, and selling items to Albert Jr.

Wishing Star
Much like Gold, Wishing Stars are a free currency, but think of them as a premium version of gold. Certain high-value items can only be bought with Wishing Stars.
You can earn Wishing Stars by completing daily and weekly requests, linking your accounts, redeeming codes, upgrading your D.G. member level, and popping bubbles.
Moonlight Crystal
Moonlight Crystals are the secondary premium currency, used to buy items from the Acorn Store. You can earn them through the Guild Sign-In event or by purchasing a Gilded Acorn Membership. Junior membership costs $0.49, while the full membership is $2.99.

Heart Diamond
Heart Diamonds are the top-tier premium currency, used to get the best items in the game. In the Acorn Store, certain premium items can only be bought with Heart Diamonds, and they can also be used to purchase Exhibition Passes. Unfortunately, the only way to get Heart Diamonds is by spending real money. To top up, just head to the Acorn Store and tap ‘Purchase.’
Exhibition Pass
Exhibition Passes are the currency for the game’s gacha system, with the number needed per pull varying by banner. You can get them from your mail, by converting Heart Diamonds, or by purchasing the GAMG Full Membership.

Exhibition Ticket Stub
After pulling in the Gilded Acorn Exhibition, you’ll receive Exhibition Ticket Stubs, which can be used to obtain recolored versions of the featured gacha items.
