Heartopia - Animal Trough Locations and their favorite food

Heartopia will not only have players taking care of themselves through cooking, gardening, and house building, but it will also let them help and care for animals scattered across the map. From bunnies and pandas to capybaras and sea otters, there’s no shortage of adorable creatures to look after. However, before interacting with them, they must first be fed through an animal trough.

Here are all the Heartopia animal trough locations.

In total, there are 8 animal species that you can take care of. Here are all of the animal trough locations.

Bunny Trough – Heartopia

The first trough you’ll find is the Bunny Trough. After unlocking Animal Care, the quest will point you to its location. You can find it in the area between Art Street and the bus stop, right in front of plots 2 and 3.

Favorite food: Weed, Carrots and Strawberries

Panda Trough Location

The Panda Trough can be found within the Jump Puzzle area near plot 12. Look around the spot and you’ll notice clusters of bamboo nearby, making it a perfect and natural place for pandas to hang out.

Favorite food: Bamboo, Apple and Corn

Capybara

As for the capybaras, players will have to head north. A bit west of Onsen Mountain Lake, is where the Capybara Trough can be found.

Favorite food: Apple, tomato and grapes

Fox

Just behind plot 2, you’ll discover the Fox Trough location. Alternatively, you can use the Flower Field bus stop to teleport there. From either spot, walk toward the Windmill Flower Field and the trough will be easy to spot.

Favorite food: Meat, European Perch, Largemouth Bass

Sea Otter

To find the Sea Otter Trough in Heartopia, head south to the Fishing Village Square Harbor. You can also use the Fishing Village bus stop to reach the spot quickly.

Favorite food: Mussels, Common Shrimp and Oriental Shrimp.

Ferret

Head to the area between plots 4 and 5. Just south of the bridge in Rosy River, you’ll find the Ferret Trough.

Favorite food: Eggs, Sea Bass and Goby.

Sika Deer

Meanwhile, the Sika Deer Trough is located between Spirit Oak Pine Forest and Deer Tower. The fastest way to reach this area is to use the Forest bus stop, then walk north.

Favorite food: Lettuce, House salad and Branches

Alpaca

Finally, the alpaca trough. This trough can be found in the Purple Light Beach area. It’s by the right side, just beside the wooden bridge that leads to the lighthouse.

Favorite food: Wheat, Lettuce and Blueberries
