Hytale Copper – How To Craft Copper Ingots

Hytale Copper is a basic crafting material that allows you to obtain better tools. You start out with crude weapons and tools and gradually work your way up to advanced items and gear.

How to Acquire Hytale Copper and Craft Copper Ingots

To mine copper, you need a mining tool, such as the crude pickaxe. To craft a crude pickaxe, you need:

Plant Fiber x 2. Attack patches of grass to get Plant Fiber.
Stick x 2. Sticks are usually found on the ground in forest biomes.
Rubble x 2. Pick up the pebbles near rocks.

Once you have a mining tool, you can obtain Hytale Copper Ore.

How to Find Copper Ore

Copper Ore is found underground in Zones 1 and 2 biomes. You may also find it above the ground in mountain areas, but the safest bet is to look for a cave.

Locate an underground entrance and make your way down. Don’t forget to equip a torch if you are having troubles spotting the brown-yellow copper nodes sticking out of the walls. Dig around each copper block, as you may unearth hidden copper nodes. You will also acquire cobblestone when farming copper.

How to Craft Copper Ingots

You can transform Hytale Copper into Copper Ingots at the furnace. To craft a furnace, you need a workbench. To create a workbench, you need:

Any Tree Trunk x 4. Cut down trees to obtain Tree Trunks.
Any Stone x 3. This is a common material found above and underground.

Once you have a workbench, select the Crafting tab and craft a furnace. To make a furnace, you need:

Tree Trunk x 6.
Any Stone x 6.

Interact with the furnace and select the Hytale Copper Ore from your inventory. Click the Turn On button to transform one ore into one ingot.

You may also obtain additional resources, such as charcoal. Copper Ingots allow you to craft better tools and to upgrade the furnace and workbenches. You can also use it to create the copper armor set.
