In Hytale, one of the enemies who’s face resembles that of a nightmare, is the Scarak Broodmother. Which is an enemy with a large face and body who is a part of the Scarak faction.
If your looking to find the Broodmother, you need to head underground. Specifically, this enemy is under one of the overworld spires in Howling Sands.

How to Defeat the Scarak Broodmother in Hytale
The first thing you want to consider is that the Broodmother is going to have minions that she can spawn, in her attempts to both attack and outnumber you. Be aware of your surroundings
Your main goal is to damage the enemy while trying to withstand attacks from the little minions she keeps spawning. This is actually how she attacks you. She has Scarak Louse protecting her, so you need to essentially get rid of as many as you can while moving towards her.
A good weapon of choice is a ranged weapon, so you can attack at a distance. If some of the enemies the Broodmother has spawned get too close to you, then you can use a melee weapon to quickly get rid of them to prevent them from making any lasting damage. Then switch back to your range weapon to continue attacking the Broodmother.
Once you manage to defeat this hideous enemy, you will then be able to get the following rewards from the battle:
- Sturdy Chitin, which is a crafting material in Hytale, so it’s extremely useful!
- Venom Sac, which is also a crafting material that is usually dropped by venomous creatures.
With the rewards collected, pat yourself on the back for defeating the Broodmother! You earned it.
