One of the earlier bosses you are likely to find in Hytale is the Earthern Golem, a slow but formidable enemy. It is a pretty easy fight when you get the hang of it and learn its mechanics. Though slow it can still cause significant damage if not careful. The Earthern Golem can be found at the Forgotten Temple Gateway

How to Beat the Earthern Golem in Hytale

To find the Earthern Golem, you just need to go to the Forgotten Temple Gateway since it guards this area. Once you get there, you will notice that the golem is extremely slow. This can be something you can use to your advantage to avoid its blows.
However, should it get close to you, you will see that it deals heavy damage. The closer you are, the more damage you are going to take from this enemy. Luckily, there are a few things you can do to make this fight easier on yourself.
- Recall that this enemy is slow. This means that you will do better at causing damage using ranged attacks. Use a short bow or crossbow to take down this enemy. The further away you are, the better off you are going to be!
- Now there is no reason why you have to fight using a ranged attack. If you prefer to use a melee weapon, you can try to land a hit and then move away. A bit of hit and run. Go back and hit the golem again before moving away a second time. Keep up this pattern to avoid taking any heavy damage.
- Using a shield is a great way to protect yourself when attacking at close range. It is an alternative to pulling away and dodging.
After you defeat the Earthern Golem, you will get the following as a reward:
- Cobblestone Blocks
- Green Crystal Shards
- An Emerald
And just like that, you have defeated possibly one of your first enemies in Hytale! Do notworry, there will be more where that comes from the longer you play the game.
