Hytale Emerald Wilds - How to Defeat the Trork Chieftain

In Hytale, one of the bosses you are going to encounter is the Trork Chieftain. He usually stays in a Trork encampment in the Emerald Wilds. It is easy to spot the area because other Trorks walk around it, blocking it off.

The Trork Chieftain is pretty formidable, carrying a large melee weapon that you are going to want to do your best to avoid. Keep reading to learn how!

How to Defeat the Trork Chieftain in Hytale

The one thing you want to keep in mind when entering the Trork encampment is that there are going to be several Trorks in the area. First, focus on getting rid of them before you go to face the actual Chieftain itself.

Reason? Well, the Chieftain will have higher numbers on his side! He will be able to use his minions to assist in the fight when all you want to do is focus your attention on the main boss. So, this helps with numbers and avoids being outnumbered and overwhelmed

The boss Chieftain comes with the following moves:

Slash Attack, where he slashes his weapon towards you.
Overhead Strike is when the Chieftain raises his axe over his head and then attacks you straight on.
Upward Strike is when he begins to raise his battleaxe

He does not move slowly like some of the other enemies in the game, so one weapon you will want to consider is the dagger. In particular, the dagger charge is a great way to attack and avoid damage at the same time

A melee weapon will also work. Landing some powerful swings from a melee weapon can go a long way to causing lasting damage! Hey, if he can move moderately fast with a melee weapon, so can you.

The reward for defeating the Chieftain is the following:

Linen Scraps
Stone Trork Battleaxe

The battleaxe, in particular, is a great reward if it drops.
