Heartopia Proficiency Points - How to Unlock Hobbies

In Heartopia, there are several hobbies you can engage in. These are actually requirements that will happen to reward you with a ton of necessary rewards, including proficiency points. Hobbies include anything from gardening, fishing to cooking and even catching insects

Currently, there are seven hobbies in Heartopia you can unlock during your gameplay.

How to Unlock Hobbies in Heartopia

If you want to unlock a hobby, you need to get a Hobby Expansion ticket, which you get by completing tutorial quests, increasing your rank, or going through the game as normal. Once you have the ticket, take it to a specified mentor.

Hobby	Description	How to Unlock
Fishing	Fish in bodies of water.	One of the earlier hobbies unlocked. Reach level two of the DG. Then you need to give a ticket to Vanya.
Gardening	Plant and grow crops.	Unlocked during the tutorial, you can garden once you reach level three and give Blanc a Hobby Expansion ticket.
Cooking	Cook with the ingredients you gather.	After reaching level 5, 8 , or 11 you can give Massimo a ticket.
Insect Catching	Capture insects.	After reaching level 5, 8, or 11, you can give Naniwa a ticket.
Bird Watching	Photograph the birds.	After reaching level 5, 8, or 11, you can give Baily J a ticket.
Cat Caring	Care for cats.	After reaching level 5, 8 , or 11, you can give Baily J a ticket.
Dog Caring	Adopt and care for puppies.	After reaching level 12, you can give Mrs. Joan a ticket.

To upgrade these hobbies, you need Hobby Upgrade tickets. Requirements vary depending on the hobby you are trying to upgrade. In order to get the upgrade tickets, you can use the DG Member Upgrades or gain them as collection point rewards.

There are certain hobbies you need to unlock first before moving on to the others, but eventually you’ll have a chance to unlock the hobby of your choice, as well as all of the rest, of course!
