In Heartopia, there’s no shortage of activities, from cooking and house building to bird watching, gardening, and more. With all these systems comes one problem: storage fills up fast. Instead of constantly freeing up space, it’s better to expand your storage in Heartopia instead.
Here’s how.
How to Expand Storage in Heartopia
Players can expand their storage space in Heartopia by leveling up their D.G Member level and purchasing backpacks and storage expansion items, which help manage inventory more efficiently as more items are collected throughout the game.
D.G Member’s Guild reward
At levels 2, 7, 13, 17, and 19, players can increase their warehouse storage by 50 slots. This can be achieved by leveling up through farming Contribution Medals.

General Store
To do this, the first step is to visit Ka Ching. She can be found in the north-western part of the Suburbs, right across Plot 8. Ka Ching is easy to spot, she’s the NPC with purple hair, wearing a navy blue hat and red round glasses.

After speaking with her, select “General Store” to open the shop menu. From there, head to the Backpack / Storage Expansion section, where a variety of expansion items are available for purchase.

The original price for both the x10 Backpack Expansion (blue) and the x50 Warehouse Expansion (pink) is 25 Wishing Stars each. However, players can take advantage of a discount for early upgrades, as the first five Backpack Expansions and the first five Warehouse Expansions are available at 60% off, reducing the cost to 10 Wishing Stars per upgrade.

After purchasing these upgrades, this instantly increases your storage without having the need to activate them.
