How to Unlock Silkspear Skill in Hollow Knight Silksong

In Hollow Knight Silksong, you’ll get to unlock several skills that can help you in fighting enemies, and one of them is the Silkspear. The Silkspear is the first skill that players will get after reaching Mosshome. After casting this skill, Hornet will consume Silk and thrust her needle forward inflicting damage higher than her regular attack. Players will also rely on this skill to break the Bell Beast free and face it.

How to Unlock Silkspear Skill In Silksong

The Silkspear statue is located at the north of Mosshome, which is near the vendor Shakra and the Bell Beast.

The best way to find the Silkspear is to first reach Shakra in the Marrow.

After reaching her, go left and head upward. Then, take the left path until you reach Mosshome. In this area, you’ll find two Overgrown Pilgrims and a Pilgrim Pouncer. Both drop Shell Shards, Pilgrim Shawls and even Rosemary, so try to defeat them. The Pilgrim Shawls are needed for a special side quest, which can be collected from the Bone Bottom Wish Board

Head to the far left and jump across the platforms near the lever.

After that, you’ll reach the northern part of Mosshome. Watch out for traps that trigger ground spikes, as well as enemies like the Pilgrim Groveller, Pilgrim Pouncer, and Aknid.

Continue to the right until you reach the next area. After the trap, deal with an enemy before jumping over the spikes.

Inspect the monument and keep moving forward. Jump over the spike again, then continue across the platforms. One platform has two traps that can be avoided by quickly running away after destroying the string.

After passing through, you’ll come across an area with large strands of silk. Ignore them for now and jump onto the platform above.

At this point, we’re somehow close to the Silkspear. Go to the right until you reach this area.

Hop across the platforms and watch out for spike traps. Once triggered, jump out quickly to avoid taking damage. On the platform above, you’ll find a Pilgrim Groveller and a Pilgrim Pouncer guarding a Rosary Cache. While you can ignore them, it’s recommended to defeat them and break the cache, since Rosary is an important resource in the game.

After dealing with the enemies, head left and continue jumping across the platforms until you reach the Silkspear Statue. Press the Inspect button.

Now that players already have the Silkspear, they can now use this ability to deal damage or destroy silk threads.
