How to Start the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Secret of the Queen Mother Side Quest

The NPC that starts the quest is Professor Omar. Indy can find him on the northeastern side of the Tomb of Khentkawes dig site. Look for the tent with the black car outside and head inside to interact with Omar.

Omar asks Indiana to uncover the secret in the Queen Mother’s Tomb and secure it before the Germans find it. The quest begins once the cutscene ends.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Secret of the Queen Mother Walkthrough

Take the Khentkawes Dig Map from Omar’s tent. Use the fast travel point to reach the Khentkawes Excavation. Head towards the quest marker and use the zipline to reach the other side.

Drop down from the wooden platform and take the enemy by surprise. Jump in the hole and activate the lighter. Take another jump and go down the stairs following the quest marker. Knock down the enemy by the elevator. The next step is to repair the elevator. To power the elevator, Indy has to activate the red and blue generators. You will find the generators in the excavation tunnels. Notice the power cords from the elevator to the tunnels.

How to Activate the First Generator

Enter the doors on the left side of the elevator. Make a right and advance to the next room. A generator is right in front of you. Notice the water in the room. When you power up the generator, the water becomes electrified, killing all the guards in the room. Make a left and enter the room with one enemy. Use the whip to get across and follow the cable in the next room. The generator is on the right side of this chamber. Use the switch to power it. Be careful of the soldiers entering the room.

How to Activate the Second Generator

Enter the tunnel behind the elevator. Follow the tunnel until you reach a big room with guards. It’s up to you how you get rid of them, but the stealthy approach is the safest. Once the room is clear, go through the right door, and take the stairs up. Enter the room at the top of the stairs to reach the generator. A heavyweight enemy is blocking the path. Defeat him with the rifle and power up the generator.

Complete the Mural Puzzle

Once both generators are working you can use the elevator to enter the Tomb of Khentkawes. Put the Stone Glyphs in the sockets to solve the puzzle.

Smash the wall to enter the secret room and retrieve the Light Steele.

Two enemies will enter the chamber after you take the Steele. Defeat them and go back to Omar to end the quest.
