The LEGO Horizon Adventures Dogsitting Community Job is a fun and relaxing activity. However, it requires you to have a certain amount of Gold Bricks and to play a game of Fetch, whilst building an Animal Shelter. Let’s see how you can complete this task and acquire the Gold Brick reward!

How to Unlock the LEGO Horizon Adventures Dogsitting Job

This job is unlocked after you have collected 80 Gold Bricks. Check out the Community Board to see the job’s requirements. The job is posted by Marea with the following message:

“I got invited to a two day all inclusive mindfulness workshop and need an animal lover to keep my dog company. He loves playing fetch, so you’ll need to build something that gives you bones!”

To complete the job, you have to play fetch three times with Marea’s dog. However, you have no dog and no bones.

Although the job description gives you a clue, it doesn’t let you in on all the details. You need to build two structures to finish the task:

• Animal Shelter.
• Skull Dungeon.

How to Build the Animal Shelter

The Animal Shelter is a home for all the animals in the village. You need this building to interact with the dog in your care.

Access the Customize menu and open the Farm section and select Village. You should find the Animal Shelter here. Then select a plot and construct the Animal Shelter. Now, you have a dog. The next step is to build the structure that gives bones, the Skull Dungeon.

How to Build the Skull Dungeon

Open the Customize menu and select Farm. You will find the Skull Dungeon building under this section. Select a plot and build it. It’s best if you place the dungeon near the Animal Shelter. Now that you have the Skull Dungeon, you can collect the bones.

How to Collect Bones and Play Fetch

Go to the Skull Dungeon, where you will find a Zombie. Attack it to acquire the bone. Pick up the bone and go to the Animal Shelter, where you will find the dog. Get close to the dog and the option to throw the bone will be available. The dog will run after it and return it to you. This counts as one game. Do this two more times to complete the job. If the bone disappears, return to the Skull Dungeon and get a new one.

How to Collect the Reward

Once you have played fetch three times return to the Community Board and interact with it to collect two Gold Bricks for your efforts. This job is now complete, but there are plenty of other Community Jobs to complete.
